"Scrub Hunter" Hunter Episode 1: Nav x 29 - "Scrub Hunter" Hunter Series. Welcome to episode one of this series that I will put out every so often! There is a stat that goes around called "Strength of Schedule" that a lot of people don't really understand. People base scrub hunting off of playing low ball teams, and then comparing that to whether it was a playoff team or not. I am here to expose each line that a person has played against. Here is the chart that I am using for calculating PR right off the LG site itself: Elite Dominant Pro Average Chilly Pylon Bench Freezer Each line will have an average PR. I will base those lines rating on this chart. Here is how PR is calculated: https://www.leaguegaming.com/forums/index.php?threads/power-rankings-faq.230614/ Disclaimers: I do not hate anyone that I do this about. This is clearly a big topic right now considering the west debates and Art Ross races. I am clearly just a stats person and I like crunching the numbers. I am calculating these numbers using career PR. I understand that ECU's do not have "Career" PR's on their profile. Instead of using their Career PR, I instead used either their report card PR for the week or their PR for the game against the person that I am writing this up about. I have not included goalies because goalie PR is I find flawed considering the lineups. These are 5v5 stats. I will be factoring in Home/Away record because of the connection issues also. I would be crucified if I didn't do this. LETS GET STARTED! Final Thoughts I don't actually decide whether they scrub hunted or not, because that is up to you guys. I am here to provide the stats necessary for you guys to think it out. Obviously the debate is that west coast connection is dominant and plays a big factor in which I can agree with. Do you think @Nav x 29 scrub hunted his way to the Art Ross? Good work @Faytal_Flow. Might be worth putting in how many 3rd lines Colorado faced all season. I feel like we did not have a chance to play first lines because teams played either a 2nd or 3rd vs us. In one case nav put us in a game vs a 1st line only to have them pull there 1st out and put a 3rd.
It’s not scrub hunting it’s just LG. Owners don’t want to waste good lines vs arguably the best line on LG + west host. We played 20 playoff teams and if none of them put out a good line that’s not on us. Good writeup tho
It’s hypicritical on both sides so I don’t see the point in the continuous arguments on west vs east. Seems to be a very hot topic on the psn side as well on Xbox but on a lower scale. Both ends calling each other out. The only way to deteriorate the topic is to play 50/50 home and away. The thing is any owner or GM with a brain, if their schedule permits, will always take a home game. That’s just common sense and being a good manager if you have the resources. At the end of the day, this falls on EA. There has to be a happy medium to this to end it. Stronger servers are the obvious answer, but easier said than done.
3 games a week, don't know lines we are going to be playing, if you don't want us playing against shitters, don't put them in. Easy as that lmao.
