Top 10 Scoring Leaders *IF* We Went By Points Per 60 Mins

This time I'm talking about points per 60 minutes of TOI. Usually most of us, like myself, refer to points per game to measure offensive production (which is not a bad way of going about it). It is, in fact, easier because we can see points per game by just doing basic math. That assumes you can do basic math. Sorry @Brassard x 16

We also are not able to see TOI for players unless we go to a player's individual page - which is why I only did these numbers for the top 10 point producers in the AHL. P/60 (the terminology I will cite from now on) shows us more what a player is capable in a "regular game" that doesn't help players that play more because of OT games, scheduling and so forth. PIM is something that does not go against the skater in this method but, after all, this isn't the only stat to look at.

Here are the top 10 adjusted for P/60:

To illustrate why P/60 gives context, we can look no further than TeachMe. His points per game is on track with the others in the top 10 but his P/60 is just 2.29

This is because TeachMe played nearly 30.5 games in TOI (more than 2 games more than the average guy on this list). The more he played, the more he was able to score.

Hopefully in the future we could add things like TOI, P/60, G/60, A/60, SHT/60, Giveaway/Takeaway Average and others to the main stats page (or the advanced stats page) to give more context to certain players.
