I've spent enough time playing club games with him against any LG lines to realize he can put up numbers on anybody. That's why the third line comment doesn't hold much weight. I'm not saying he's better than you, Lan. I've played against you maybe twice and don't know that for sure. Everyone's list seems to have a revolving door at fourth and fifth tho and I'd put him there on mine. I haven't seen anybody else as good at scoring regularly than he is.

 

If you guys think Vas is good now, you should have seen him when Active didn't let him talk in parties.

 

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. All I'm saying is that against any sort of decent competition he vanishes. This is best 5 at each position, not best 5 nub bashers. I will give him credit though, he's extremely good at piling up goals against kids who aren't aware that there are buttons they need to occasionally press. Not everyone can do that.

I understand you feel that way based on the list you created. I feel differently which is why I posted that. Thank you for reminding me you don't feel that way tho.

Just an FYI, I contemplated putting Hanson on this list and I left myself off of the top 5 G's because I'm not as arrogant as one might think (even though I'm number 1 in my mind :wink

 

You're the only person that oddly thinks that way.

 

No actually I've only talked to him a couple of times when he was new to the nhl in 6s, season ago while he was doing scouting for Winnipeg because praise was being a lazy owner by that point.

I put him as an up an comer because he wants to be the best, hes got a solid head on his shoulders, and a good attitude. if you want to be the best, believe you can be the best, and play a lot. You can be the best....... in a few seasons.


Replay my list is so my own, you were actually in the running on RD lol. But if you want to put your money where your mouth is pick your least favorite 2 on each of my picks, I'll make two lines out of that (chemistry is everything) and if you can convince them to all play together I'm sure they'll beat "ANY game 7 line in LG" (quickly checking rosters). Yeah, shouldn't be a problem.

Guys that stand out on my list as not being top 5 in your opinion are on my list because I don't judge players based on what they can do with equal caliber line mates, I judge them based on what they can do themselves. Hext dosen't play with very many people around his skill level, but if he did. He'd still likely stand above them, especially if he didn't take so many penalties lol. Scauzzo or however you spell it on EDM, that guy's unreal. Put him with two first line wingers and you wouldn't have a clue he wasn't a traditional first line player.
