Topspin online optio The online options in finding the right matches are just ly ignorant. I've tried every damn option under "ranking" and "opponent skill," and yet I still play chumps ranked like 142,023,234. I was ranked all the way up to #2....and because of maybe 2 losses and 5,000 wins (against ppl ranked horribly), I've fallen like 20 spots....its really stupid trying to get your official rank high if you can never get a decent much. One word: GAY!
Re: Top Spin online I gave up the scoreboard hunt a while back, Got to #3 in the world. But it became abundantly clear that you have to play ALL the time just to keep your ranking high. Because 1 loss when your at the top and you drop miniumum 20 points, and then you have to play mostly idiots to get you ranking back to where it was after about 20 wins. The only rankings I care about for this game, is here! Any idiot can play 50 match's a day against losers to get a high ranking, but when it come's right down to it, there's no better competition than right here, and Personally I think it's going to be harder to be #1 at LG than it is to do it on live. In my book your #1 right now.
i'm glad someone else knows what i'm talking about papa......i decided the same thing today...to not give a shit about the official rankings, because it is pretty bogus when you look at all the factors involved. I'm just glad we have this league, or I probably would've returned the game. Anyway, lets play sometime...peace...
Yup, that's what I do, I changed outfits, and was loosing, so I went back and put on the Trademark Orange Pants and Orange Striped shirt :wink:
I never care about rankings on XBOX live, because there's always someone with alot more time than me to play a zillion games and keep their ranking insanely high.
One option (or lack of one) I think is stupid is that you cannot see how your opponent is configured prior to playing him/her.

lol fartster that the biggest pile of shit i've ever heard.....you and i dont have the same reasons for not playin official matches anymore. I stopped because I can never get a decent match and i don't want to have to play 100 games a day to maintain a high ranking. You don't play official because you never cared about them and you hate competitive games. You never told me anything about official matches :wink: :-&
rank I know exactly what you're talking about man. I was number two in exhibition 2 days ago and I stopped playing for a day and lost a couple matches and what do you know. Now I'm number 11. It's just too easy to go down.
Now I'm feeling your pain Ragin, I played all weekend and yesterday - got up to 45 (after a 30 match winning streak), then lost one match and fell 35 spots. Very frustrating. It's tough to get back up when you're only getting matches against people ranked 10,000 or 5,000 - sometimes it won't give you even one point for those victories.
