i think people just mistake opinions for hostility. I see this as a discussion not as a firing room :> The only time i get angry at this game is when my character inexplicably dives for every shot and the other dude hits crosscourt winners 90% of the time :> Other than that great game. I prefer real tennis (even tho i cant do nearly as good in RL as in this game and thats not saying much :>)

There's alot that's unrealistic about this game. 140mph + serves that don't ace anyone People dropshotting those same 140mph serves Spoon serves that are surprisingly effect Amazing forehand and backhand angles which would be HUGE risk shots in a real game of tennis. They're doable, but highly unlikely even in the highest of echelons in tennis. BUT, someone mentioned the slice use as being unrealistic. I disagree, watch Pete Sampras or Roger Federer play. That's alot of slice in action.
Well, I myself enjoy a clean game. If someone is doing those slow (& spoon) serves constantly & running to the net its not really very fun. Hmmm either I get it past him or I dont & it goes to the cross court. Sounds like a lot of fun with two or three hit rallies. I will play clean untill someone starts abusing some shots then my bag of tricks is coming out for the rest of the game Lets have some fun good games all.:wink:

you know guys, i enjoy playing xbox live and using all it has to offer towards making myself a better person, and doing better in all aspects of life be it school, family, job, or the community. Let's all remember why we're here in the first place......the kids, please...think of the kids.....
The more I play online, the more I agree with you Ragin, I honestly think the developers did a crap job in recreating a REAL tennis match in this game. Soon, this game will all come down to junk serves and drop shotters and it's a shame.
And yes, for those that are going to say it, it's only a video game, but I expect a faithful recreation of the actual game - especially since there seems to be so much data involved that doubles aren't feasible online!
Ok I watched some tennis the other day and let me just say that if this game was realistic we would hate it. It was Agassi and someone else I cant remember and they would hit the ball straight back at each other 24 times in a row waiting for someone to fuck up then hit the winning shot. Also how do you hit a spoon serve?
Guys, when you hit that ball behind the back for the first time you should have realized right there that this is not a sim. And can someone honestly name one Xbox Live game where someone doesn't cheat, or do something thats cheap...no! Its out there, so deal with it. If you don't like it, then don't play. ACCOUNTEDBLOCKED: And use the left trigger whe serving for the spoon serve.
