Does anyone have a formation they use all the time that works for them I can't seem to find the right one the one that has been alright for me is 4-3-3
I typically use the default one as the it's built to bring out the strengths of the squad, but sometimes, when I change, I use a 4-3-3 as well. The 30 second timer makes it harder to do in-game changes, hopefully it's gone in FIFA 09.
EA will always implement a timer to prevent people from putting the game on pause during a ranked game and waiting for the other player to get frustrated and quit, giving the pauser the win. Unfortunately, its something we are going to be stuck with.
A lot depends on the team itself and their personnel make-up. Normally my favorite formation to run with is a 3-5-2. If I really need offense, I'll switch to a 3-4-3 or a 4-3-3.
