Alright week 2 everybody lets kick it up a notch as Season 1 already has itself. Week 1 is history as the Leaderboards has completely changed already creating a decent spread across players. Significant differences to me are @xTarasenko91 rightfully taking his place as the Number One Point Man (24) (he's tied in 1st for Goals (11) and tied Second in Assists (13) ). @Mreedxr takes second in Points (22) and leads the Assists category (15). Ya boy @Ripo_Dipo who wasn't anywhere to be seen a week ago but now leads in Goals (Tied / 11)! Last weeks Goalie leader completely fell off while last weeks second rank stood tall ranking 1st @IRemzyI (.854 SV%) 1.88GAA (2nd). @Hawkeykid7 hardly sees pucks go past him with a 1.80 GAA (1st). Some other notable feats, Face offs are tight across the league as the highest team holds 62.5% while the lowest is 51.3%. Evolutional has the best Powerplay at 48.7% and The Hands Team the best Penalty Killers with an impressive 83.3%. The top 3 teams, I would say by far, after two weeks of play are The hands team (1st) with a 86.7 Win% and Elite bots / Evolutional T-2nd with 80 Win% each. Something to remain familiar will be us calling out the top players. The Hands starting to create some opportunities now Xtarasenko throwing Heatseekers on net and some in tight saves by Can_do. Senko trying to break through drawing a penalty. Zoned enters the O-zone cuts middle and dishes off to Choban but a nice short side save for Can_do. A strong forecheck byt the Ice Dogs taking the puck behind the net Jayscott passes out front and Choban rips it into the net! Next shift this time the Ice Dogs getting the powerplay. Having trouble creating anything off of it, Pens enters the offensive zone from the right goes for bit of a force pass with some sauce and Brassard buries it 1-1! For at least the first shift momentum is in the Ice Dogs hands, a strong forecheck keeping puck possession Stxv hanging on the right side of the goal line facing behind the net and a beautiful backhand pass as Brassard sneaks behind the dmen for the cross crease goal! The Hands absolutely unwilling to let the game get a away from them immediately pushing back hard, Senko chases the puck down throws it to Choban who finds a way to turn in the busy slot and tie the game up 2-2 to finish the period. Puck drops and Senko throwing some more Heatseekers on net, the way he shoots the puck it's either a huge save or a goal and his opportunities are adding up. Great pinch and control by The Hands as Can_do has to make a couple big saves from the slot and a rebound. Going the other way a shot from the Ice Dogs point tipped post, rebound post! and out the zone the puck goes. As the Ice Dogs enter the zone a miss slot pass from the right ends up at the point Funk wrists the puck and he scores! Ice Dogs taking the lead 3-2 with 1:17 left to go in the second. As always The Hands push back and Choban passes to Senko for the offhand one timer into the net to tie the game at 8 seconds left in the second! The Hand coming in strong starting the third, Ice Dogs holding them off well but not well enough as Senko rips a short side glove shot into the net just inside the hash marks!. Jayscott in for a short half side breakaway stopped by Can_do. Another Heatseeker by Senko followed by a hard pass to Choban racing to the slot for the tap in and thats the Hat Trick 5-3! It's The Hands game now as they seem to be controlling it, a face off leads to Senko at the bottom corner of the circle and he snipes it low glove for his Hat Trick 6-3. And as the game comes to an end Chabon having some fun here cuts to the slot and snipes far glove side making the game look like a landslide on the scoreboard. After the first 5 minutes of the game I thought The Hands we're going to dominate and that's not what happened here. Ice Dogs held their own incredibly well, @can_do_42 make a ton of great saves but the score does resemble what The Hands can do at any point and time even with little spurts.
