    Hi guys,

With the vote decided, we'll now play three courses each week, but the 2nd and 3rd courses will only be two rounds long each. We'll still have 8 possible rounds you can post scores on each week.

Reminder this is the first of three weeks we'll be in the scorching sun of the desert!

Have a good finish to this week, and keep hitting 'em straight!

I highly recommend using the PGC Mojave Palms instead of the CDC one. Unless you played both and decided on the CDC one.

These are desert courses. Expect them to be firm and the greens to be a little fast which is typical of desert courses due tot he dryness.

Hey Commish, thanks for picking my course as one of the ones to play this week.

If anyone is going to do practice rounds make sure you use Lower Valley CC LGGT as it was the latest version. The others are identical but I just added some visuals to make it more appealing on the eye. I'll do a new topic with some tips so everyone is on the same playing field.

By the way, the greens are very receptive wit hnot a whole lot of runout. If you want to get close to the pin youll have to land just over a protective bunker on a few holes.....it needed some protection.

    Have fun on it guys!!!

The green speeds are the same on both the CDC and PGC. It's a desert course, it's supposed to be dry which means firm and fast. No point in making a desert course if the environmental impact of being in a desert isn't a part of it.

The difference between the 2 are that all the tee boxes were flattened on the PGC version as well as the 7th hole Par 3 having an extended landing area in front of the green.

things continue as is dont think many of these tours will remain very active with majority of people shooting realistic scores and 10-20 in the TW scoring category. See the LGGT Xbox tour

Especially with all the bugs as well. Losing 50% of the rounds I play in each tournament is pathetic.

How soon we forget........... TW scoring would be in the 70's/80's for 4 rounds.

I remember that on TW it was pretty much the whole leaderboard that shot great scores, disturbed and I are having a good run atm but the weather will turn and we will struggle, that is a difference in this game

Exactly. We are seeing scores here that are half of what we'd see in TW.

10-12 under par is nowhere near TW scoring. And no one knows stuff you don't know. If you get favorable wind and don't go for every par 5 and end up in rough you can shoot those scores. What is nice about TGC is the same guys shooting those scores also shoot a stinker every now and then. Last week par was a good score for everyone but Disturbed and he just went nuts. In TW the top players never had a bad round.

This. I treated every hole on Mojave as a birdie opportunity because of the wind. It all comes down to the flat stick and it has caused me headaches, frustration, confusion, and anger when I slightly pull or push the analog stick. It also caused mini fist pumps on my couch.

Then I shoot that stinker on Lower Valley. Lack of execution and concentration.

not buying these scores are absurd and doubt those scoring that low are playing with wind 10mph+ or hitting errant shots. Funny those claiming nothing to see are same on top of leaderboard week after week

i agree disturbed if , hit 100 percent i would have had 12s and 13s but im getting 91 a lot and as far as tiger goes, nevada your right i would birdie and eagle every hole they show you your kick thats not counting holeouts which i do a lot on tiger ,just great shooting disturbed cant believe you didnt do better on the next one got 91% a bunch of times on that one too but still shot a good score for now first round i got 91% a lot only 4 times on the next round and put up a good score doubt it will hold up tho

I don't normally shoot 12 under in high winds. I don't recall ever saying that. For what it is worth I think we should all be playing in the same wind but if I log on and the wind is 4 mph and I have time I am going to play all 4 rounds. That being said, if we all play in the same wind, the same people are going to be at the top of the leaderboard. Like I said. You have to play smart. If you get aggressive and shoot at every pin you will not shoot good scores.Putting is where you score. Every round I have shot has matched what is posted on leaderboard. No "missing rounds" here and I hit errant shots just like you I just minimize the damage after hitting them. If I was guessing, you would probably wipe the field with me if we played The Show and I assure you I would not think it was because you were doing anything shady.
