Just thought I would let all the west guys know there is a league starting up. Game times are Thurs Fri Sat 9 & 10 est. Lots of LGHL guys already in the league. Add me on discord if you want an invite ~ Bureee#0410
Friday and Saturday night!? Can I take a stab at the league name? VHL ( virgin hockey league )... GNAHL ( get no ass hockey league )
Why not run one on LG, im sure Tris and Brodie would gladly add that for you guys . I know theyve been talking about possibly doing a Euro league in the past. I bet if you could generate enough interest they would set up a WEST LG type league or club style Esports type league. You could even do it same days as LG just have it after, starting at like 11:30 1200 12:30 1:00 eastern standard. or :45 mins apart. I dont even know why LG games are still an hour apart, especially when most lines are playing 3 in one night @Tris10 @LG McDonald
Wouldn't be allowed. Wasn't in the PS4 version. The whole point is for the west west to get to play on good ping for once.
I wish LG games got played consecutively, like you can play them asap when both teams are ready (after the first game of course) late rules for pims only would apply to the scheduled times still though. Just would give people an opportunity to make a 3.5 hour night of lg take 1.5-2 hours to finish their 3 games.
True, but not having set start times would kill any chance of us getting a broadcasting deal with ESPN
@Badbradguy5 @Shuck and Jive @Mreedxr @hgSparty @DADDYRIDESBIKE @xTarasenko91 @Diamond l 4 l GET OUT OF THE LEAGUE WESTER SHITTERS!!!!!
@SweetLou9208 that sounds amazing that would be sick if LG ran a WEST league type wonder if they even would look into it because LG is a EAST league based website
TL DR: I like idea of back to back games. It’s quicker but it could lead to more forfeits and/or worse ECUs, which isn’t good for look of the league. Would need to be careful before implementing that change I have seen a few people reference the staggered game times as being annoying and moving to a format like Esports where it is back to back. I would LOVE to see this concept executed successfully since it would be a time saver. However, there are a lot of variables to consider: 1. ECU availability: Gone would be the idea that an AHL player could play their game at 9:30, ECU for NHL at 10, and return for 10:30 AHL. Players are responsible to the league they are rostered so this would likely result in more NHL forfeits 2. Start time accountability: we finally are seeing incentive to have games start closer to scheduled time. By making games with no gap in between, you open up issues with one team having a double OT game and then that has a ripple effect affecting other teams games. Example: Team A goes into double OT with team B. Now not only will Team A and Team B be running behind, but the two teams they play may be behind for their next game if the double OT happened to be game 1 of the night.
hahaha another idea/league LG wants to swallow.. give it up lou when lg develops an original idea lmk
