i think singles would be cool because we could arrange it like a tournament and you can get 3 or for guys and play simulaneous then someone posts the scores for the round. after 1 round make a cut and play the second round the same way. same purse for every tourney winners get fake $$$. most $$$ at end of season = win.
So far it looks like a team league...I am hoping more people will vote so I can get a better on idea of how many people wnat in
think of it this way, do we want gametimes to be rigid, or do we want to be able to play at our own conveniences over a period of time. i think a 24-48 hour window to find 2-4 league guys and play a simultaneous round for tournament rounds would be cool, especially with NHL 09 everyone is going to have 9pm league games and EASHL games, i just think that having the schedule more like madden as opposed to nascar would be very beneficial to the league as a whole. whether that is in a team or singles setting i guess doesnt really matter.
I was thinking some weeks have a doubles thing like best ball and another week have a one vs one match play event... I would really like everybodys input before I make a decision and bring my case to the admins here
I'd nominate Caniacfan for commish of this league. You seem like you really want to get this done and you look like the right guy to run it because you will be dedicated to it.
I am def interested in getting this league up and running and I have worked in the golf business since I was legal to work until a year ago so I was in the golf business for 6 years and play all the time but I am going to wait and see how many people vote in this poll before I go any further

i never said u wouldn't be at all not good enough , i am just stating the facts, out of all the leagues i been here ar lg if u don't have a good commish captains and scoreboard support these leagues will fail
I would of course try and get the support and get some good captains like a murph or whoever.. I know he was a gm last season for the team league I believe and I ran team canada in the summer league.. Lets wait and see how many guys we can get first and then decide if its worth the effort for whoever the cpts and commish is.. So far we got 9 guys interested in the league which isnt enough.. Lets see if we can get some more
The commish is only the half of it. It takes everyones support to make a league successful. Scoreboard or not, thats an excuse IMO. If you have guys that signup and never play, then of course the league will fail. But if you have a small league like this, get a night where everyone is free, I think it would work out just fine, scoreboard or not. If people want to play, they will. If not, then everyone looks at the commish of that league as the scape goat. Anyways, I do believe that caniacfan would do a great job as the commish. He did a very good job with the IHL team Canada.
Yeah I agree 100%, and I would always want you to help run it but I saw your post in that other thread. I also think Caniac will do well and then get someone else, like he said someone like Murph and get things started off.
