I will get you an answer from staff.
If you are currently banned you cannot play, if you’ve bought it out you can.
If you have a capital ban and are bought out, you can participate in a CanAm but not LGHL.
You can sign up for whatever position you want.
I’d suggest playing your most skilled position.
Forward lines can try out together, d pairs can try out together, how do goalies get a fair tryout?
A good goalie holds shortside, reads plays well, trusts his defense, and sometimes makes saves he shouldn’t.
If good goalies are seen with a bad dpair we will know, all of us have been playing this game long enough.
So if we don't come in as a full line, we get thrown with the other lone wolfs?
Yes and no.
Every game will have a captain or “lock” in it. At the end of the day you have to trust the captains will see that you offer more than the lone wolves and get you in the games with those you can run with.
Great ty so I should be good ty
When o tryouts begin?
New to this type of league but I can possibly be of help!
Goalie here if needed.
These tryouts aren't about feeding people to the wolves or playing favorites, it's about seeing what's out there and deciding who you think gives you the best chance to win.
If you think about the way the Canadian Olympic team used to be formed, there would be offensively skilled players left off the roster, simply because management didn't think that they'd fit in as well chemistry wise with the lines.
I think it's the same concept here. Goalie I've always found is typically skill based, but def harder selecting skaters to a greater degree
Can play anything but Center.
