    These are the strange answers that keep me worried. He eludes a question about a feature already in the game (BAP) and if it was upgraded as "we will discuss game modes as we lead up to launch"

    Am I over reacting or can anyone else think of how that question would be related to game modes unless there is something to tell us about BAP that answering it would reveal?

    As an EA Dev, I can confirm that we will not be able to fit the EASHL into NHL 15 on next-gen systems.

    Rest assured however, we are doing our best to get it in for NHL 16!

    We take it as: he signed an agreement not to disclose the features available on next gen consoles until the company has an official press release prepared, and he wants to keep his job.

    He signed an agreement to not release any information on the game before its time. NHL15 game modes are NHL15 game modes. I feel his post will be deleted before too long as a slip up.

    This still leaves questions on why its so secretive on the new consoles. And the only reason its news to be released is that its either removed or "changed" differently enough, a "new" type of online team play to be news worthy and secretive. Only EA's past reputation makes me feel the worse is coming.

    Is it possible that in the description they wanted to showcase the new things added.....So they leave us to assume EASHL is still part of the game...

    I'd love to believe that, but I used that argument, that if it was just a returning feature, why so secretive about confirming and reassuring us it wasn't removed from the game. A simple, "Stop being silly, we aren't removing it" would put this to rest and allow us to focus on all the new features coming out. Not the "We'll discuss game modes when the time comes" answers that are being thrown around.

    Our own F5 is even restricted from giving us a better answer but leaves us with some hopes (I think).

    They're being secretive on all game modes. There hasn't been a peep about Be A GM, Live the Life, GM Connected. Even HUT, we haven't heard a word about other than seeing the pre order bonus. Hopefully we get some information tomorrow that squashes this one way or another.

    Actually there has been information to some of them or at least enough not to lead people to think something like HUT isn't in the game. The offers to pre-order and get something HUT related stands alone as proving HUT is in the game.

    It still will be interesting to see why they haven't just simply answered the question.

    I have a friend who usually does a play test for EA down in Burnaby every year. He was there again this year, said the only online mode that was in the menu was VS. He couldn't find HUT or any EASHL/OTP things. Doesn't mean or verify anything though. He only did a test for PS4, none of the other systems.

    yeah but there offering the hut edition NHL for 60$ or whatever it is so could just be they wanted to eliminate that stuff from the testing aspect of it
