Whats next for LG if no 6v6 play?

Would You buy NHL 15 as a Bundle

If we were offered a bundle, for instance..we buy NHL15 for the 360 and it would come with a digital download of the One version for, lets say $70 , would you do it?

 

I am not buying nhl15 on the 360.. it's .. i'll just get destiny & nhl15. nhl15 I usually only play GM mode anyways, so it works out good for me. Fucking stupid there's no club or anything. This ruined my day, but at least GM mode will be fun.

 

That is very true. But they did nothing to nhl 15 but change the name of nhl 14.

Wouldn't even waste my time until EA would make an official topic asking for feedback. I read a mod said, "We'll forward it!" Yeah no thanks. That topic just turns into people shitting out stupid ideas like custom intros and they're most likely just skim over most of the stuff said. I think the first step would be helping EA on construction of the EASHL committee. Getting them to tell us what exactly what the committee will be doing, how they will be doing it, and how much influence they actually have is pretty important.

If we could get some people here who have frequented the EA forums for years and have been around EASHL 6s since 09, then that'd be a great step. Most of us have written several paragraphs echoing the same line of thought for improvements for EASHL. So the same general thought is there.

In fact, it might even be worth it to reach out to EA about LG and the community Tris and others have built. Ask them if we could nominate a couple guys from this community. Even then those guys would have to understand to make EASHL successful game mode worth improving, the player base has to increase and appeal to casuals. Trying to make EASHL a heavy 6v6 game mode will not work and obviously EA thinks so as well.

Then again the committee thing could just be a way to keep people calm. Which it's probably a bit of both.

You guys may as well play NHL 14. I definitely traded in my 360 and all my games assuming NHL 15 would atleast have EASHL. Just cancelled my pre-order on NHL 15.

The cold reality is, if XB1/PS4 were not in play, EA might have changed something other than commentary on NHL15. The cold reality is that XB1 and PS4 are in play so it doesn't matter what would have happened if they weren't. If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle.

 

You're gonna have to play as NHL players and teams at first, but they plan on patching it to online Be a Pro.

 

You have to appease both crowds. There are plenty of people that play EASHL that aren't die hards of the series and looking to play double digit games a night. I think everyone would agree that a year end playoff is a big need to make people want to keep playing. Especially playing that whole year on the same club. There has to be at least a monthly playoff as well though, or else you're alienating the majority of the NHL community. They aren't going to do year end playoffs just to appease you. They need to appease everyone. Which leads to things like stadium customization. You give people the option to create their own stadium(nothing super intricate, just choices and color schemes) and you give them a reason to keep that club. You make those banners you get for winning a weekly/monthly playoff or whatever it is something that stays in your teams custom arena and you give people incentive to not only stay on their clubs, but to actually want to play those playoff games. Small, easier to obtain achievements is how you draw in the large crowds. You dangle the year end playoffs in front of them and hope they play for it. Without all the stuff in between though, only the die hards are being appeased and that makes up only a small fraction of the EASHL which itself is only a small fraction of the total player base in NHL games.

 

I sure do miss the 09 EASHL style with year end playoffs. the weekly playoffs is a joke
