Which NHL player would you compare yourself too?

Got a fun thread here:

What current NHL player would compare yourself too when you play EASHL/Drop-in. Please Explain Why.

This could also help Owners/GM's with scouting.

I compare my play as a Defenceman to that of:

Niklas Kronwall:

Kronwall is very defensive minded and is usually in good position. He has an active stick and can make a very good pass out of the zone to his forwards.

He is also known for delivering crushing hits. Though he does sometimes take himself out of position to deliver one of these hits, if he connects he can change the game in an instant.

My play reflects Kronwalls. Very smart defensively and loves to throw the big hit when it presents itself. His offensive skills are average, but we all know it's defense that wins championships.

Goalies can only do so much but with that said I'd say I'm similar to Rask because when I let bad goals in I like to take my goal stick and smash it over the goal post or if it was my defenses fault I usually knock them out for the game with a wack to the head with my goal stick .....

I compare myself to be a player like Sergei Federov, Yes he did play centre but he occasionally played winger and defense as well for all of you who didn't know . The Soviet Russian played for the Detroit Red Wings , Anaheim Mighty Ducks , Columbus Blue Jackets and Washington Capitals .



I am a sniper and a dangerous one , get me one on one with the goalie and I will finish off with a highlight goal . Defense watch me split them like Swiss-Cheese with a fancy move . I do score a lot of goals but I also am a team player who knows how to cycle the puck . Getting to the right places at the right times .

 

I am like John Scott 100%, Cant skate, cant shoot, pretty much cant do anything but be useless out there.

I believe I play a lot like Ryan Miller.

 

I'd say I'm like a Ryan Suter. I'm a great puck moving defenseman who will occasionally jump up in the rush when needed, but can always get back to make a defensive play.

 

I've modeled my play style after not one but two players. The Sedins. Lots of give n go plays,as well as a lot of short crisp tic tac toe plays. All complimented by a smart cycling play style.
More so like Henrik as in if you can read the play I WILL set you up.

 

Henrik Zetterberg- unselfish setup guy who will pass first to get you those easy tap in goals.

As I'm playing Right Wing for this year's LG PSN 6v6 League, I'd compare myself to defender Duncan Keith, he is a two way kind of defender. I like focusing my game towards defense and offense, defense being priorty number one, and offense, number two. I'm also the Playmaker type instead of shooting right away, I make sure to pass it to get a good scoring chance. If I make a crap pass and we're on a breakaway, I dive poke check to make they don't score.
