I was playing 2k5 last night and I am still amazed at how good this game is. The presentation is top-notch and the gameplay still holds up till this day. Anyone who has not tried this on the 360 should. The graphics have gotten a bump with backwards compatibility.
FYI, online play is horrible though. especially 360 playing the original xbox. Recently i was in a league with 2k5 but had to drop due to the fact that I couldn't stay connected. But to answer your ? I highly doubt this years madden will come even close. So far there is no reason for me to believe this.
I could see the online being a problem seeing how this game is four years old now. The ESPN integration is perfect as far as I am concerned, hopeuflly EA will eventually follow this style. I just wish there was an easy way to get newer rosters to my 360.
Presentation wise I think 2K5 is still a lot better than Madden. I think Madden passed 2k5 gameplay wise with Madden 06.
