    Will you name your p

Assuming EA allows named rosters online. Will you name your players by either entering their names manually or by using a device like a sharkport or Action replay? Or will you play using just the players numbers?

I thought this might be a good poll for whoever runs this league, especially if they decide to have scoreboard support with players named or not when scores and stats will be entered.

I always named my players using a sharkport for the PS2. I guess I will have to buy that action replay thing in order to do the same on the XBox. There are a few good sites out there that usually have named rosters up on the web days after the games are released.

I've always named mine in the past, but I've also done it the long way... by hand. Approx 30 minutes to do it that way.

I'll probably play it straight up. If my Team does then I will, If my Team doesn't then numbers is what they'll be.

I'd take the time to name the majority of my players. Even though I'd get a kick out of a numbered player being nominated for the heisman..."This years Heisman canadites are Mike Williams, Matt Leinart, Frank Gore, and number 3"

I'll be using DT Linders roster files (or whoever makes them, the ones posted on his site anyways). Very good accurate, and good editations.

I don't mind either way, lets just play some football already. If there are names released on Action Replay....not everybody here has one, so they may be stuck to numbers. But it will be much better seeing Matt Leinart leading the league with 3,000 passing yards and 45 touchdowns instead of # 11.

Socal, if you get the trojans instead of me Leinart, cough#11cough, won't be leading any category in the league except for sacks :D

yeah, the number of times he has pulled a waterboy, and gone out there and sacked the opposing QB regardless of him being on the offense. I will lead Leinart to the promised land, and get him the Championship that they deserve, not the shared title that they got last season.

The only thing you'd lead Matt to is the injured reserve :D

I think I would just use numbers, as I don't have action replay and don't see myself purchasing it. It would be nice to have the names. It would be nice to have it so that when you take down stats and input them into the scoreboard, they would just have the numbers and you could go by that, but then when you are looking at the stats you could read the names along with the numbers, much like in other leagues. So you would go through and name your players, much like you have to for roster inputs in other leagues. I don't see it really mattering all that much in game, as you will know your own players and the other person should too, if he did his scouting.

I will download someone that does the rosters through Action Replay.
