Xbox 360 Game of the Year - Nominations

    Hello everyone,

    We are going to try something new here and each year we will select a "Game of the Year" by system.
    Because this site is mostly xbox 360 years, this year we will just pick a xbox 360 G.o.t.Y.

    How it will work is first we will ask the community to nominate games in a thread for a week, The top 12 nominated games will then be put to a new thread in which all members will vote on their Xbox 360 Game of the Year.

    So the first process is to nominate games, I will get the ball rolling and nominate these games:
    Halo 3
    Call of Duty 4
    EA NHL 08
    Rock Band
    Mass Effect
    Guitar Hero 3
    Orange Box
    Bioshock
    The Darkness

    We will host the official vote thread next week

    If you wish to add more to this list or back up the following nominated titles, please post below!

    call of duty is amazing single player and addicting multiplayer...it's made me realized that i'm addicted to games...i need help :(

    can we get some impressions or reviews of Assasin's Creed in those threads? I'm curious to hear LGer thoughts on the game.

    There's a tendency in GotY contests to have a natural bias towards the latest, greatest titles (which is fine)... but I just can't remember any 360 title captivating me quite like Forza 2. The fact that the Forza community is still going strong and there's still a ton of interest in the game makes it a clear winner in my book
