Josh literally does it every season... if the player on the roster doesn't want to play at the time what is the owner supposed to do? It's not cheating it's just exploiting the rules. Move on dude...what do you want them to replay the finals? lol
If the league actually cared, which they won’t, past precedent would be to forfeit the games an “illegal” ECU played in. And from what I can see, that wouldn’t be enough to change the outcome of any series. So

There's a big difference between the situation where a player really can't play and the situation here where a player can play but is benched... Miipanton admitted that he was able to play, that they knew it was illegal but still did it Name it cheating or however you want, there's no debate they used illegal rosters in those playoffs and that's it. The only debate is the rule itself in here
Imagine living for it so much to go out of your way to exploit a virtual hockey league's rules just to win a virtual cup that has no meaning on your life what so ever. Also, before someone makes some joke that we all try to win the cup, yea but I do it fairly by the rules.
