I made a LG server template for discord here is the link: https://discord.new/QrDe4BDgu5Vb In order for the server to work as intended the following bots must be added: Reaction Roles - https://top.gg/bot/550613223733329920 This will be the way new members select their position to enter the server. Example below: Duthie Bot - https://www.leaguegaming.com/forums/index.php?threads/how-to-setup-duthie-bot-in-discord.290603/ This will track LG site stuff for your team and the league. Example below: MEE6 - https://mee6.xyz/ This will help with moderation and the ability to play music Just follow the instructions in the links provided its not that hard tbh. A little explanation for the CATEGORIES and #channels is as follows: #welcome - This is the landing page. New members who join the server will need to select a role by reacting to the message. An example was posted above, just follow the instructions when setting it up and its fairly intuitive. Members who do not select a role and are not mods will not be able to see anything else until they select a position. MAIN - main category #announcements - this is where management will post announcements to the server. Only mods are allowed to post in here. #general - this is where roster and tc players mix in chat. I recommend typing commands in this channel when setting everything up. #streams - this is where players can post their stream links for easy access. #music-controller - using the MEE6 bot you can play music in voice channels. This channel was created to input commands so #general didnt get backed up with music commands. (Voice) General - this is for general meetings or to play music with the bot as previously mentioned. 1ST LINE, 2ND LINE, 3RD LINE - Categories for each line to set up practice, warmups, etc. as well as a voice channel just in case xbox parties are being stupid. FRONT OFFICE - Private category for management only. TEAM NEWS - This is where you can use the Duthie Bot to set up alerts from the LG site. #team-game-results - displays results of games for your team. #team-daily-stars - displays daily stars for your team. #team-trades - displays trades made by your team. #team-waivers - displays waivers from your team. LEAGUE NEWS - This is where you can use the Duthie Bot to set up alerts from the LG site. #league-game-results - displays results of games for the league. #league-trades - displays trades made by the league. #league-waivers - displays waivers from the league. The roles are more or less self explanatory so just look over the names and assign them as you want. To get the most out of the server all the appropriate roles for an individual will need to be added to players by mods. Enjoy!
Look at the Duthie link in the post and try the list teams command and it should give you a value that you can enter instead of the shortcut name.
