Miracle in Vancouver

June 27th 2022 The Eastern Conference's First place Bruins take on the Dead Last in West Vancouver Canucks. The Boston Bruins are playing their first line, A line that when playing together have not lost a single game so far. The Canucks don't really have a first line and it doesn't help that the RD tonight is an ECU who has never won a single game in the NHL and isn't even rostered on an CHL team this season. On Paper this should be an easy blowout for the Boston Bruins


Yet Here we are the score is 3 - 3 and We are in overtime. How did we get here?

1.Dradavich



The Road to the show has not been very easy for me. I was Drafted 26th overall in the S12 draft which was almost 3 years ago back in 2019 and yet this season S20 is my first season rostered in the top league. The Road to get here wasn't great, a Terrible S12 AHL Season had me being waived to a mediocre oil kings team where I put up mediocre numbers. It had many people thinking that I was a product of my Very Good Center Griff back on the S11 Bulldogs. S13 I proved the doubters wrong with a solid season, Then I would do a rare Expansion Team Extension with a good friend of my from the S11 bulldog days just to be traded in the first week to the then to become memorial cup champions who I would play with until they traded me at the deadline. This made me want more and after experiencing what it was like to be on a contender I got in to management for the first time for the next 2 seasons This to this day is my only management experience (we don't talk about S11 Slovakia).

My Long "Conditional" Stint in the CHL was now over as I was rejected for management for being too good of a ECU for the AHL. going 6 - 3 - 0 with 36 points one season. I was not only ready to make the jump the AHL but also in my opinion the NHL and bidding did not disappoint with a 750k Sleeper bid by . Everything was looking up it didn't even seem to be a senddown bid as I was scheduled for games and was told that I was a 3rd line roster player. But tragedy Struck I was sent down anyways and it really didn't help that the AHL team was awful. And my season was ruined as I never found any footing, In fact I never found any footing for the next 3 seasons as I would bounce from team to team plunging my record further and further away from .500 never really feeling like I got a fair shot.

And Here we are just before S20, Voted the worst AHL player in a community Poll. A Player that many believed belonged in the CHL. an Opportunity arose the Top League was short on owners, and now there was a decision I had to make. Risk it in bidding and hope I finally land on a good AHL team or go all in and live the dream, become an owner and play in the NHL, You all know I choose the latter

But what about this game what have I done to contribute, Let's go back to the 3rd period the score is 2 to 2 and a minute is remaining all that is on our minds is getting this game to Overtime. The seconds started to tick down and then this happened

It's over it's fucking over the arguably best line in the league did what they do best they found a way to win. At least we put up a good fight but there is absolutely no way we can score against the best line within the next 38 Seconds, They had shut us down for most of the game and they were not going let one leak. And then I did this

The Party became electric I wish I was Mic'd up for this game because god damn What a goal, We are going to overtime.

2. TMGkuzkuz

But we don't even get here without the spectacular goaltending from kuzkuz. Back in S17 Kuzkuz was apart of "The Miracle in the Cleveland" a game played against The S17 Belleville Senators a team that had the most wins out of an PSN LG team Ever (68). When we won that game 4 - 3 in overtime the first thing i thought was damn that goalie was amazing, It's one of the reasons why he's on this team playing in this game and he has been spectacular so far and has kept us in this game with incredible saves.

3. SqueegyDingers



The Man with the puck right now, Squeegy and I have some history, During my lowest point in my worst season S19 he was only person brave enough to fight me.

An Incredible Comeback win fight ended up being the perfect sendoff for the season where i set the AHL's PIMs Record even though I wasn't really trying too. Squeegy has had a typical road to the N, 2 good seasons in the C a great Follow up AHL season after being drafted and now he is here after being traded a day ago in a trade many thought i had completely lost.

4. Estokes



Arguably the Best Player on our team Stokes has been great this game (as Usual). Coming off a ban it's almost like he has never left the league. Tonight he has had to work extra hard to correct the mistakes of our wonderful TC RD da_woo_66 who despite a couple of mistakes has played surprising solid so far (Seriously one of the CHL managers should give this guy a shot on roster). Stokes has done an excellent job shutting down the Boston Bruins top offense.

This story reads pretty well. I enjoyed the narrative and the spirit of capturing such a monumental achievement; however, the overall grammar and syntax left much to be desired.
