Since when does saying the n-word make you racist?

This is almost exactly like the situation that happened to PewDiePie a week ago. He made a joke saying "Death to all jews" and got accused of being an anti-semite.

To provide more context of the joke, he went on fiverr and had someone hold up a sign saying "death to all jews, subscribe to keemstar" to prove that people on fiverr will do anything for $5.

Clearly a joke.

People keep saying "get over it" about personal attacks but the same people can't get over edgy jokes. lol

 

Smh, im sure calling someone fat is close to saying death to people of a whole religion when there was a holocaust and 6+ million jews died. So funny!

The whole thing is if youre accused of saying the N word youre forever a racist so im assuming that none of these guys here ever said the N word in their lives or everything they've said here doesnt matter.

I never compared racist jokes to personal attacks. I simply stated that using the n-word doesn't make you a racist, and gave a recent example in the news that pinned a famous person for being an anti-semite after he made a racist joke.

I'm a neutral party when it comes to the topic of this post. I'm just trying to defend someone who's name is being slandered with accusations of being racist because you have a different opinion of him.

 

I see your point, @stev. I don't know what Zacha has been accused of saying, all I know is that he hasn't denied being racist or offered any sort of explanation for his alleged actions. If it were so cut and dry that this is nothing but a witch hunt, shouldn't he be able to dispel these vicious rumors pretty easily??

 

You are the farthest thing from a neutral party, you are in a party with nabby every single day and are very close friends, you're not fooling anyone. The whole point of this post and Nabby's 67 posts is that words on here hurt people, jokes or not, people don't know when enough is enough and when they've crossed the line. So saying that he said something as a joke and shouldn't hold merit is laughable and goes against everything he has said. I, for one, have never said he's racist, but he uses the hard "r", he got banned from this site for using racial slurs and I've seen him on MULTIPLE occasions personally attack people. But yes, I don't understand

who cares about people using a word thats commonly used in every community. its comical how people in certain circles harrass and talk shit all day and everyone turns a blind eye. yet the moment someone not on the cool kid list says something about the bullying, now everyone wants to reminisce about some harsh words that he said prior. seem awfully hypocritical, kind of like the snowflakes in the real world. #teamtomilahren
