I wanted to divide divisions up AFC and NFC...but I have a problem. Right now we have AFC-5 and NFC-9. Now if we can't get things evened out I would not mind going from :fchi: to :fden: , my favorite team. I will just wait though to see if we get anymore people join up.
thats sounds like a good plan to split it by divisions. Or you could just split the league in half and make our own NFC and AFC just because they are in those leagues in real life doesnt mean they have to be there in our league. You are the god of this football league you can tell the teams what side of the fence they should be on.
lol, yea...but I kinda wanted to keep it realistic...we will see who else signs up and if they don't balance out I guess I will sort them out myself.
yeah I know what you are saying. hell would be cool as hell if we ended up with every team represented. then we could play like a full season. but hey you have to start somewhere.
Yea, I sure as the site grows we will get closer to having all the teams....but as for now I think we have decent numbers....considering the game doesn't come out til September 2nd or so.
you shouldn't worry about all the problems just yet. you really have to wait to see how everything is when the game comes out. you never know, right now you have 9 afc, and 5 nfc, but after the league starts, you might have people drop or add, so you really have to wait and see.
As we discussed in the meeting last night, it will likely be 3-4 weeks after the game's release before the 1st season is started. I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to field a complete league of 32 teams (assuming someone wants to the Texans, Bengals, etc) before the season begins.
SlugCruncher is already the Texans....if he can get the game in time that is....and I know I still have plenty of time to get everything balanced...I was just bringing it up.
if i was 2 buy an american console, import it, get an american live kit and 2k4 when its out, then u would only have 2 worry about the time difference! would this help!!!!!!
Well...if you could get everything to work out whereas you were able to play before the seaosn started.....I think we could work something out with the time difference. The question is would you wanna go through all the hassle?
possibly not as i dont think i have the cash and i also read that US xbox's and xbox live are compatable with UK broadband or something
that does seem like a lot to go through just to play a game. hopefully they will bring it out over there so you wont have to worry about something crazy like that.
Yea...you still have time to figure everything out. So as for now I will just leave you as the :fhou:
i could just wait until the second season but then i'll be even worse than i will be in the first season! and i have just looked at game.uk.com (a major games store here)... and 2k4 is out Sept 2003!!!!! so if the season was to start in october or november (as i'll be visiting orlando, late september, early november for a familly holiday!) i should b ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!:fhou:
Yea, I believe the game comes out September 2nd....and we will wait like 3 weeks after the release to begin season play.....thats to ensure every1 has the game and we can adjust the settings and whatnot. So if you do get it in Sep....you are right, you should be ok.
I've raced MotoGP2 and played RTCW with guys from the UK and Europe and while it works, the lag is pretty bad at times. It's just such a long distance for the packets to travel and I'm not sure how well the quality of online play would be for a fast/action/reaction type of game (ie. football).
