War, it just further proves your a bandwagon jumper. Angels, Lakers from Magic, now Portugal, then Man U and Arsenal and Real Madrid??? :roll:

so now cause i want a team to win im on there bandwagon i just wanted Portugal to win i prefer them over England...In Man u and Arsenal and Real Madrid my favorite teams are Man U in English Premier and Real Madrid in Spain..i just said arsenal was a good team and henry was good that dont mean i jumped on their bandwagon...lakers from magic lol i never liked none of those teams lol and i support both baseball teams angels and dodgers i go to both of their games.

 

But even so there....Man Utd(number 1 or 2 team in england), Real Madrid(number 1 team in spain and possibly europe)

Yeh, I dont really get your post either, Skater's that is.....Real Madrid is by far the best team on paper, Man U close behind, and Arsenal not far away either. I think that Henry has proven that he is one of, if not the top striker in Europe. He doesn't have a huge supporting cast like Nistelroy or Ronaldo. Ronaldo and Nistelroy do have amazing skill sets by themselves, but they do also get a lot of help from their supporting cast.

But all of this is getting us no where so we can just end it here and let people root for whomever they wish to, it just makes them look stupid if anyone is to just be swapping teams at the small site of victory.

Yeh, but Senegal actually did quite well in the last WC, but France did set a new record, first defending champ not to score a goal in the group stages. But I mean it isn't like England is doing much better....btw, what happened to Holland in the last WC, I couldn't believe they didnt make it past the qualifier. I am not bagging on them, I am just amazed at how much the face of world competition football has changed. I mean you have France, England, Germany,Italy, and Sweden, who all do well in the last WC and now it is the teams that either didn't qualify or just didnt do too hot lighting it up. Just goes to show nothing is for sure.

 

Well, you are right Gophers, Senegal did very well in their first ever World Cup, going very far. Much did the U.S. of A, although it wasn't their first.

England though, honestly they have a theme to choke. Hopefully in the World Cup though, Argentina gets eliminated before Britian has to play them, as the referees always decide to help out Argentina. Take Diego Maradona's goal back around 1980 when he punched it into the goal basically. Then 1998 world cup in France when David Beckham got sent off for the slide tackle. The refs just honestly always seem to be against England.

Anyway, as for the Euro Cup, GO HOLLAND FOR THE FINAL!

The year was 1986 and I think you were too young to remember that game Socal.... remember that Argentina dominated the whole game and the final score was 2-0....so even if that goal wasn't allowed, England would've still lost that game....


And I'm still calling the Czechs winning Euro 04 against Portugal...
