i know... right now, i feel like i should do well in this game. funny thing is, i thought i would dominate motogp2, but i suck. i console myself w/ the fact that a lot of people got it much earlier than myself, and they also played a lot of motogp1. so i'm thinking w/ this game, we all get it around the same time, and no one really has played something like it (well, at least until i found out a lot of dreamcast owners are out there)... no excuses for me. so, i may be wrong, but my S.W.A.G. is that i will DOMINATE this game!
One thing we pride ourselves here of is being gracious winners and losers. "Talkative" people we tend to ignore. So please take that into consideration.
It wasn't meant to be ill natured, just a poke in the side that's all. I really can't wait for the competition to begin! I don't know everyone who signed up, but the one's I do know are all great guys and it should be a lot of fun.
it looks like we're getting off on the wrong foot. first, the disagreement on the importance of using countries if you're going to play the davis cup, and now this. [-( the "dominate" thing is an inside joke.
Ok, I think we are getting off on the wrong foot, but lets go ahead and forgot all this. The point I was trying to pass from the talking trash thing is just try to be a gracious winner and loser. We have had people in the past that we very poor sports about when they won and lost. They would gloat and rub it in if they did win, and make some excuse about losing. These certain individuals have been removed from this site, and I would rather not have anyone in the tennis department have bad sportsmanship. Celebration is great, just don't over due it. Remember, when someone wins, there is always a loser. And being a close community that we are trying to create, being a good sport is never a bad thing. And the country for Davis Cup wasn't really an issue with me. We still have to figure out if we are going to do this, and if so, how. So this will probably be a disagreement in the making, haha. But like I told Rk, if you like tennis, then I like you. So lets not dwell on our misunderstandings and just be freinds...awwww, how cute.
yeah, it's mainly b/c we don't know each other very well. trust me, i'm not a trash talker except in jest. normally, i'm being quite ironic when i say, "i will dominate." (even in links2004). -- back on topic: when do you think you'll have the format settled? team sizes? 1 month to go...
Format for singles and (sorta) doubles have been settled months ago. Now for the Davis Cup, and Team Tennis, thats definitely a Season 2 of tennis things - Which should be a little over a month after the first season starts (Being that Season 1 will be a short/fraction of Season 2).
