ESPN NHL Online Test League : Accepting Signups

what sliders are we using??? can we save this in the test league/espn so we dont have to adjust everytime we play??? coz im seeing problems if we cant save all the sliders (adjusted ones) for our league.

 

That's pretty much the main reason why we would want to use their online league feature. The sliders are setup by the league admin, and then every game you play through the league, the sliders are automatically set for you (and can't be changed).

If we don't end up using their leagues for one reason or another, and play through exhibition games (like we've always done) we'll have to enable the AI sliders in the exhibition game setup, and do them manually each time (which means we wouldn't go hogwild with them.. maybe a few changes, nothing major).

 

if we decided to do our league in exhibition, only 1 player do the adjustment right??? we dont need to do it both right? to much hassle for me, specially to a technologically challenge person

 

ya I think it's just the person that hosts the game that has to set the sliders if we play exhibition. I could be wrong though.

 

Correct, only one person needs to set up the sliders in exhibition, and they can not be loaded via a profile, so that means manually changing them each and every game (read: sucky).

That's why, if we go that route, any changes will be minor so it's not too tedious.

We played two full seasons with no sliders on 2k4. 2k5 promised sliders online, which they delivered to us, but not like we wanted (how they were in 2k3 via the profile).

 

hopefully they'll send us patch to make it easy for us :wink:
