after you place your order, there is a 1-2 day wait to confirm your account. after that, it depends on the game. Mass Effect shipped within a day or two after that. Guitar Hero 3 is very popular and took 3-4 weeks to ship because it was backordered. although i was reading there is a limit of (2) GH3 bundles per account now. that might help. someone people had 5-6 copies of it.
Can anybody give a review of what trials they do have on their? Are they all easy to cancel online? Reason I never give these things a try is because I hate talking on the phone, like to do it all online. Need to take a hard look over what trials they have tonight. Course if I don't get in the MLB league I won't need 2k8 but I don't wanna wait till last second.
Jeffrey, Gamefly and Blockbuster were easy. You sign up, cancel, everything online. It seems that the cheap offers that used to be there are long gone. Basically, I signed up for both, queued a crappy game and a crappy movie that were in so I would get them quickly, got them a couple days later, sent them back. A couple days after I sent them back they got them, I cancelled and GH3 shipped a week or so after that. Well they said it shipped, but the first delivery attempt was two days ago when I wasn't home. I just went with that since its worth more and you don't pay for shipping or anything like that.
Only problem with that is I'm currently a member to both Netflix and Blockbuster (untill I cancel Netflix at end of month) and just cancelled my service a month ago to GameFly. So looks like I'm gonna have to think outside the box for offers to try. lol
One more question, can you do the same offer numerous times for different games? Example: Orange Box (Stamps.com and Quickbooks Trial) MLB 2k8 (eMusic.com and Quickbooks Trial)
not on the same account. some people have been known to setup multiple accounts - different email address, different mailing address, different IP address (important! yes, they track this). i'm moving next week and was planning on setting up another account. *wink*
As much as I'd like to save a few bucks on MLB 2k8, the more I think about it the more I think it's not worth the hassle. It'd be ok if they didn't cost me anything or if they were complete online services. Of course I just done a quick look thru them, so I could be missing someting.
Jeffrey, I wasn't too sure at first myself, but what it comes down to is 10 minutes, $1 to $4, and deciding which game to get first! I already have one credit towards my second game and I just did it today. I'll keep you guys up to date on first my order, and trust me - if anyone doesn't lie, it's Big Al!
Which two offers were those? I know there were a few that all you had to play was shipping and handling but didin't go through enough of it to find out how much S&H was. I'm wondering how soon they ship new releases, as in the day they come out or if it was a couple weeks later. Guess either way I could buy it from Wal Mart or EB Games or something and return the unopened one I get from the website back to the store.
You're wrong. The two people have to complete two offers of their own and get a game for you to get credit. Referring means they sign up AND complete offers. Murph got a referral from me when I completed my two offers. I have a GH3 bundle that says the site works.
^^ good post you can switch back and forth between the two "plans" freely though. i know it says you can only switch once, but that's not true. don't use my referral anymore. i already got 2-3 from LG peeps. i'm going to go take that link down. share the wealth, hook up another LG'er. like i said, i'm moving next week and plan on starting up a new account. i will gladly return a referral to anyone who gave me one.
oh PS - your referrals count as soon as they complete ONE offer. they need two to get a game, but they count as a referral after just one.
I think I did just this some time ago for Lost Planet or something. You eventually get the game, but you have to keep following up. The people who run it are kinda ..... not sketchy.... just flaky.
