Someone finally shut us up. (That's how easy it was, all anyone had to do was beat us ) Availability and ECU's are a killer, but everyone suffers it. I hope you guys don't suffer any big problems in the Finals. The one game I was able to make you guys played a frustrating game that I'm sure you've been playing all season. After our Lake Erie debacle I hoped we could keep this series as civil as possible but what are you gonna do, right? There's more to our team than Crass, but I guess no one can look past that. Good luck in the Finals, you guys were the only team in the league we were worried about and you proved us why.

And as always, keep it classy.

I'm sad to see my team lose. I wish I could have been there to help, I think I could have made a big difference, but shit happens. If it were the nhl, and not the summer season, I might have turned down 1 of the shifts at work to play my games, but let's be honest, this season really was just to give us something to do till next year's game came out. Gratz Abbotsford, goodluck in the finals. Hope you win so at least we can say our team lost to the team that won it all.

How big of a difference you are talking about? I hope its a lot bc they way you guys were talking seemed like you guys were untouchable out there. Pretty crazy how the tides turned since YOU couldn't help. Excuses never work man, you guys lost and it wasn't because you had work. It's because ABB was the better team and it showed.

 

I'd say losing a top NHL dman for the series and replacing him with an ecu makes a pretty big impact. The only game I lost in the playoffs was a throw away game against lake erie where We sent out our 3rd line with an ecu to match up against their first line. If we happened to win that game, it would have been an epic steal of a win, that being said it was a 2-1 game until 4 minutes in the 3rd when we gave up a pp goal to seal the game. I don't know for certain that I would have won both my games, but I think it definitely greatly improves our chances. Could be looking at a 2-2 series right now, we'll never know.

 

Do you honestly think anyone brags about winning a calder cup when they're playing in the nhl? I would hope they wouldn't... No offense to the AHL, but I was playing in a league I didn't belong in because I was forced to by the rules. It really doesn't mean much to me. I had fun playing with Rochester. They're a great group of guys and several of them really belong in the nhl, but at the same time I'm kinda glad the season is over and look forward to playing in the nhl next season.

Also, I'll say despite what people say about Crass, he's a pretty good leader and did everything he did within the rules. You can criticize him all u want, but any good coach/gm will use whatever advantage he can to get ahead. That's just the reality of the world. How many times have you seen players holding down a star player to keep him from getting back into the play when the ref isn't looking or throwing a glove in their face just to piss them off. If you're not playing a little dirty, you're not trying hard enough. I say gj Crass, keep up the good work.

 

Yeah, injuries and availability are part of hockey. Have to acknowledge that and move on.

 

You do realize if you guys would of won this series [MENTION=7144]Crass IXx8xXI[/MENTION] and [MENTION=8383]Mt Willard[/MENTION] would of bashed us right? Lol great GM you got there running his mouth all through the playoffs, and Willard well he's Willard he shouldn't be chirping anyone, ever.
Crass did stop chirping when this series started I'll give him that, but Willard wouldn't stop. I have respect for most of the Rochester players, just not Crass and Willard.
