. . . Plus coming to xbox http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/110/1102733p1.html Didn't see this coming. (insert fake shock face) $10/month. Might be worth it but shows need to be on there quicker and more than 5 previous episodes. They do it right and I'll cancel my cable.
Who gives a shiit about canadia? Seriously though, probably not. If you guys don't already get it, I don't see why you would now. Unless paying for it changes things.
Ya sorry, I saw the bottom of your post after i posted. But if it wasn't for Sports in HD, i dont see why you'd keep cable. I have zero loyalty towards my cable company ATM
It would be great, until your ISP throttles your bandwidth and you end up paying an extra $50 a month for internet usage. Seriously, ****!
Cable company's make so much of a profit that it's actually funny. Once I find out how to legitimately watch shows like Entourage and Weeds without downloading it from torrents, I'll be gone. Maybe before. Missing the season and buying it on iTunes or something might be a good option.
first off - Hulu Plus is bull****. $10/month and you still see ads?? not to mention that Hulu and Netflix were working with the PS3 browser for a while until they added some code to specifically block that browser. second - yes, the only thing that keeps me from ditching DirecTV is sports. if i could just buy online access to the sports packages (WITHOUT BLACKOUTS!) i would totally ditch cable/satellite. seeing how DirecTV and NFL has their nice little monopoly together, this is unlikely to happen anytime soon. although you CAN get MLB and NHL online and then always just use an over-the-air antenna for local Sunday football. third - i just picked up a Dell Zino HD for the bedroom TV. going to install Boxee on it. Hulu, ABC.com, NBC.com, downloaded movies, Youtube, and NFL Sunday Ticket all hooked up via HDMI.
I don't know if you still see ads for the 10 dollars a month. I know you get more shows(full seasons) but I haven't seen anyone say if they still get ads or not.
Never mind. . . Them specifically not mentioning 'no commercials' probably means they still have them. I would think they are at least reduced. I still think it would be worth it. It's either that or pay 15-20 dollars a month.
