not I... NHL 08 hands down...

 

NHL 08, no doubter.

 

NHL 08, no contest. NBA 2K8 is a solid game but its not that big of an improvement over NBA 2K7.

Plus one can only drool over the smooth animations of NHL 08. Simply fix the defensive controls a tad bit, and NHL 09 will rock.

Again had to go with Forza. While I like NHL 08, it's still not a complete game yet. Bad defense, crappy AI, not enough sliders and many other reasons is why I can't vote for NHL 08. So in the end I have to vote for the game I've played the most this year, which would be Forza Motorsport 2.

 

Some of the best games of all time have had poor sales. Beyond Good and Evil is one.

 

who in their right mind would vote for Madden?

 

I was really hoping that 08 would be the year of Madden on the NextGen consoles, but yet another year of disappointment from EA. Rather than putting in all of these 'groundbreaking' features; how about in 09 they focus on gameplay and fix all the friggin' bugs.

My vote goes to NHL08. Simply the best overall sports game in the class. The addition of the 3v3 team play was truly monumental and something that has been a huge success. The only thing that took away from the game is the online leagues were subpar at best. Maybe next year.
