New Roster Update

i think you should just add the new guys.. and if there is guys that played just leave em..

 

What do you do about people who were traded?


Yesterday I went ahead and redid my roster since I hadnt played a game yet.

 

DO NOT TOUCH YOUR ROSTERS!

Alot of players are likely there, but with other teams. If you go in and start adding stuff, it's going to put a load on the database. Please do not edit, remove, add anything yet.

 

Well unfortunately it appears that's how they did it for online. They only affected ratings for offline I guess. :cry: Consider yourself lucky Stl.

 

Like I said before, we shouldve waited til the roster update. Ea has always been good about updating their rosters on time. Unlike ESPN. I know we all get excited about starting, but it couldve waited 3 days.

 

I looked at my roster offline and they still had the same rating for Jp Losman at 75 even though he was placed on the IR. I haven't checked out on how it appears online yet though.

 

Thats because you have to load the roster.

 

It depends on how you view the roster. I though the same thing when I "view rosters", but check the "depth chart" you see a difference. Losman is listed as a 61 and out for 7 weeks not on the IR.

 

I did load the roster because I now have Shane Matthews and Jason Gildon,Antonio Brown, and Ken Simonton were all cut.

 

What's the difference, soad, tmg, marauders and myself all entered the rosters ourselves... we should be the one's moaning about it, not you guys.

 

If you would've asked for help though...I am sure everybody here would have been more than glad to have entered them. But don't worry, we appreciate what you did.

 

Who said I was moaning or bitching about it? All I was saying is that this couldve easily been prevented if we wouldve waited a couple of more days. You know as much as any Madden vet, Ea always put out a roster update after the final cuts.

 

This the first league I've been in where the players didnt enter their own rosters. We wouldve done it. :roll: 8)

 

XBoxJon was pretty stern about us doing it, so I have just been doing it.

 

The difference with this league was that Tris10 made us use the existing database and players had to be moved from old teams to new ones... otherwise everyone would have entered their own. Trust me, that's how I wanted it too, but Tris10 couldn't wipe the old NFL database w/o causing other problems, so we had to do it this way.

And for the record, I would have been fine with everyone doing their own roster updates.

Didn't u hear? Your ratings are only affected offline and online they just put the player at the bottom of the depth chart. Only thing that is really happening here is adding and dropping players from the rosters.
