You're throwing around that word 'diseased' alot but the Vikings defense last year was horrible. Signing Atoine Walker isnt enough, Vikings will make the playoffs but will exit in the first round.

I think it will be the Redskins from the NFC. The AFC is wide open i just pray that Tom "Tuck Rule" Brady is no where near it.

It wasn't THAT bad. Better then the last 2.

The thing is, we have a better defensive line, Udeze looks great and we have a good, young, fast group of LB's. We probably won't win a superbowl...this year. Winfield is a VERY good signing, our 2 Safeties had 17 INT's and Williams should be even better, he made some damn good plays last season and should progress. Kevin Williams and Hovan should be solid inside with Martin backing them up.

We have a 2-3 year window and I think our best chance honestly is next year, but I don't see us being that bad we lose in the first round. Hell, we might have a bye, ;).

The colts D-Line isnt that bad... it's their DB's that are kinda shaky.

Udeze is a rook who left school too early. Don't expect a whole lot out of him, he should have finished off maturing at USC.

Yeah, but basketball is a lot different than football, you can leave early, and still be a dynamic player. But if you were talking about baseball, same thing, they have farm systems that they will send you to.

He looks great, camp is a lot different than playing games.

Seahawks, i'm not kidding, vs. Colts. The Seahawks had a great offense last year and they should have beat the Packers in the postseason. They are a little bit more expericenced and they got a better defensive(Bobby Taylor, Grant Wistrom) and a few draft picks. And for the Colts, this will be Payton Manning's year and I think that the Patriot's will have something go wrong. I know they look very good and deep, but something will go wrong, it always happens.

Never said it wasn't, but I don't think he's going to be that bad, I mean what 16 sacks at the college level? If he was a sophomore, I'd agree, but he's a junior and I think he'll be OK. He is a top 10 talent, and was drafted at 20, huge steal there. I think he'll shape up pretty good, I've gotten to see him play a little bit and he's better then Lorenzo Brommell, LOL.

And no, Basketball is worse then football and harder. Rick Rickert was a All-Big Ten player, first team, big ten freshmen of the year, the whole bit. He leaves as a sophomore for the NBA, is chosen out of pitty by the Wolves at like 52, he expected to be 1st rounder. He is now playing in Slovenia and really hasn't improved much. PLayers can't leave the NCAA in football typically before the junior year (some special cases, Fitzgerald). In Basketball there is no minor league, one not worth leaving college for anyways. If you don't make it to the NBA after being drafted, it's either being obscure and hidden in Europe or playing for the USBL or whatever that junk is called. And no the NBDL doesn't count, LOL.

What didn't happen? The Seahawks or the defending Super Bowl Champ? Well the Bucs , it did happen. And the Seahawks didn't have a great defense and they made a couple vital mistakes. They also had a lot of dropped passes last year. They are one year older and have a few new veterans and that is why I think they will do well.
