S2 Rockford Regular Season Awards

Although coming into the season a bit late, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the guys and decided to spend some time making a team awards thread. These guys have been stellar all year and deserve the shoutout. Thanks for making me feel part of the squad and family.

Award giving to the person who most abuses the high five hand gesture in Skype

Given to the player who pulls the most selfish dumb move in the entire season resulting in himself getting banned from LG but still shits on everyone in points. #RIPClaus

This award goes to the goalie who always finds a way to fuck up his shutout in the dying minutes of every game

This award is given to the player with the most mic mutes on and off during a game averaging a staggering 34 mic clicks per game

Shoutbox Shit-talk Award:

Given to the player who not only trolls, but also shits on opponents and teammates in the LG shoutbox

Rockford MVP:

Night in and night out, this guy consistently put up numbers and ended the season undefeated

Recipient: Kraz18 (20-0) – 20 GP – 46 G – 54 A


Most Talented Scorer:

Knew how to put the puck in the back of the net, and to this day, one of the greatest scorers I have played with

Recipient: JClaus33 (25-2) – 27 GP – 83 G – 63 A


Top Two-Way Forward:

As solid defensively as he is offensively, great Center to grind out tough wins.

Recipient: Letsgoblues74 (21-4-1) – 26 GP – 25 G – 38 A


Top Forward:

Consistently put up points no matter who he was playing with or against

Top Defenseman:

Two-way tie with two great defensemen who I personally love having on my blueline

Top Goalie:

This has got to be a tie between our 2 goalies as they have both been solid between the pipes for us

Most Versatile Player:

Playing both Forward and Defense when we needed him to and doing an outstanding job at both

Manager of the Year:

I know what you all are thinking, Kraz18 . Well, you’d be wrong.

This guy has been with the team all season long through everything, dealing with shitty availability and shitty attitudes. Even after his LG ban, he remains involved with decisions and does not want to see his team suffer.Can’t say enough good things about the guy and wish him luck in the future.
