    PLAYOFF MVP​

    The Jack A. Butterfield Trophy, named after the former president and treasurer of the American Hockey League, honors the most valuable player of the Calder Cup Playoffs, as determined by the Calder Cup winning team's management group.​

    Les Cunningham Award

    LEAGUE MVP​

    Named after Les Cunningham, who retired in 1947 as the AHL’s career scoring leader, the Les Cunningham Award is annually presented to the American Hockey League’s most valuable player, as voted on by LGAHL Awards committee.​

    Eddie Shore Award

    BEST DEFENSEMAN​

    The Eddie Shore Award is annually awarded to the player chosen by the LGAHL Awards committee as the best defenseman in the league.​



    Aldege “Baz” Bastien Award

    BEST GOALIE​

    The Aldege “Baz” Bastien Memorial Award was adopted by the Board of Governors at the start of the 1983-84 season to honor “Baz” Bastien, who for many years was associated with the American Hockey League. The Bastien Award honors the goaltender adjudged to be the best at his position, as voted by LGAHL Awards committee.​



    Datsyuk Award

    TOP DEFENSIVE FORWARD​

    The Datsyuk Award is annually awarded to the player chosen by the LGAHL Awards committee as the best defensive forward in the league.​



    Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award

    Rookie Of The Year​

    The Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award is given each year to the player in the American Hockey League determined to be the most outstanding rookie. The award is based on voting by the media and the players. It was named after Dudley "Red" Garrett, who played in the AHL before fighting and dying in World War II.​

    Willie Marshall Award

    GOALS LEADER​

    Harry “Hap” Holmes Memorial Award

    GOALS-AGAINST AVERAGE LEADER​

    Named after Harry “Hap” Holmes, a prominent figure in early professional hockey and a standout goaltender in his era, the Harry “Hap” Holmes Memorial Award is presented in recognition of outstanding goaltending. Since 1972, it has honored the goaltenders (appearing in a minimum of 25 games) on the team with the lowest goals-against average at the end of the season.​

    Louis A.R. Pieri Memorial Award

    TEAM MANAGEMENT OF THE YEAR (GM and AGM)​

    The Louis A.R. Pieri Memorial Award, instituted during the 1967-68 season and voted upon by members of the LGAHL Awards committee, honors the outstanding head coach in the American Hockey League each season.​

    Fred T. Hunt Memorial Award

    SPORTSMANSHIP, DETERMINATION and DEDICATION​

    The Fred T. Hunt Memorial Award, instituted by the AHL Board of Governors during the 1977-78 season, is voted upon by the LGAHL Awards committee and honors the player best exemplifying the qualities demonstrated by Fred T. Hunt: sportsmanship, determination and dedication to hockey.​

    Richard F. Canning Trophy

    EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS​

    Richard Canning served the AHL for over 50 years and is best remembered as the "father" of the league's Constitution, By-Laws and Regulations. Established in 1990, the Richard F. Canning Trophy was originally awarded to the Northern Division (1990-95) and Northern Conference (1996-97) playoff champions, and has gone to the Eastern Conference playoff champions since 1998.​

    Robert W. Clarke Trophy

    WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS​

    Robert W. Clarke played an instrumental role in the formation of the Rochester Americans when, in 1956, he recruited a group of Rochester businessmen to be 45% owners of the team, becoming partners with the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs. The Clarke Trophy has been awarded to the Western Conference playoff champions since 1998.​

    Macgregor Kilpatrick Trophy

    Named after Frank Mathers, a 1992 inductee into the Hockey Hall of Fame and a member of the inaugural class of inductees into the AHL Hall of Fame (2006), the Frank Mathers Trophy is now awarded to the team that finishes with the best regular-season record in the Eastern Conference.​

    Emile Francis Trophy

    EASTERN ATLANTIC DIVISION​

    Instituted by the AHL Board of Governors in the summer of 2001, the Emile Francis Trophy recognizes a Hockey Hall of Famer who competed in over 350 AHL games with Hershey, New Haven, Cincinnati and Cleveland, including a run to the Calder Cup championship with the Barons in 1954. Presented to the winner of the North Division in 2002 and 2003, the Emile Francis Trophy is now awarded annually to the Atlantic Division champion.​

    Sam Pollock Trophy

    EASTERN NORTH DIVISION​

    The Sam Pollock Trophy, named after the long-time general manager of the Montreal Canadiens and honored member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, was first presented in 1996 to the champion of the AHL's Atlantic/Canadian Division. Beginning in 2004, it was awarded to the regular-season winner of the North Division.​

    John D. Chick Trophy

    WESTERN CENTRAL DIVISION​

    Named after the late John Chick, who served as vice president and treasurer of the American Hockey League, this trophy was first presented in 1962 to the original Cleveland Barons for winning the Western Division. From 2003-12, and beginning again in 2013-14, the Chick Trophy has gone to the regular-season champions of the West Division.​

    OK Sherlock glad to have your input... terrible record lollll ok not my best season by far went bidless in all 4 leagues grinded my way back to the A was thrown agm on a doomed team had to play last 3 weeks of the season with ecu's had to manage to have a team on the ice every game not knowing if people were gonna show up next game or not, still only ff'ed one game in the entire last three weeks.... i played with you last night... i'd keep myself from saying anything if i were you, whish i'm not so keep talking out of your ass what comes out of your butt and out of your mouth... same same to me simply just irrelevant

    Could be worse @TITO JAKS0N. I was 4th in D points and 1st in Takeaways and Interceptions. All somehow on a team that didn’t make playoffs. Didn’t sniff any award noms.
