I heard this last week on the radio, if it were to happen it would almost certainly help the CFL gain some much needed fan support. I myself am not a huge fan of the style of play that the CFL has but I do go to one or two Argos games a year and I'd certainly go to a game to see Ricky play if he were here.
Doesn't the CFL pay in Canadian Tire money anyway? Well seeing as he's making zero right now I'd figure he wouldn't mind too much. Not to mention last season he made the NFL league minimum so his CFL salary wouldn't be as bad as it would have been before he quit the NFL.
