I'll be stuck at work all day, and I chose not to sleep-deprive myself last night...so I'm still Halo2-less. I'd love it if some of you all who are playing the game would share your initial thoughts and impressions. At least I can visit here throughout the day and see what you guys think. Thanks.

I played it for an hour last night and wish I didn't. Now it's all I can think about. Started the campaign and then went online to check out game options. I was just messing around so I set up a swords only party match. Walking around checking out the map (forget which one) when all of a sudden there are 5 other guys in the room with me. It was a "party" so they all had to have been on my friend's list. I didn't have my mic in. The only name I recognized was Army of 1. The game is off the hook incredible.
I decided to take Wed and Thurs off since I didn't want to waste half a day waiting for the UPS guy to show....now I'm just itching to get out of here and will likely <cough cough> Work from home the rest of today.
Hehe, that'll be nice for a change. I may have to replay a few of those early levels to get a better feel for the plot.
so tired...story awesome...Army of 1 killing me...Tris 10 on tank for wayyy too long.... lol. Great game last night guys. After 4am tired. Played the story for another hour before i fell asleep.
Hmm, I have only played multi-player and its no different than any other fast paced FPS. Maybe the single player is awesome, I dunno. Still have yet to see what all the hype is about.
A word to the wise. I ran home for lunch, got my game, turned it on and given I didn't have a lot of time I jumped immediately into a CTF match in the 'Training Ground' section. Yeah . . . . I forgot to reverse my axis so I looked like a complete noob as I'm running around with my gun pointed at the ceiling. Then, (the ultimate noob move) I point the gun down at the floor and inadvertently throw a gernade at my feet. Just to let those of you know, you might want to check your settings before you jump online.
So far thumbsup, great graphics, story is really holding me. It seems a little easy on normal difficulty.
Have you guys noticed the Elites go down alot easier? I'm playing on Legend and was a little surprised at that.
Well I just played a bit briefly earlier with Tris, Jon, MP, King Kobra and I believe a couple others from LG. As I said, I played briefly, but boy does this game kick ass! Hardest part I found at it was remembering what team I was on. :?
