Which Game are you g ESPN? LIVE? Both? Neither, they both suck? Im getting ESPN for sure and will probably pick up NBA live in a week or so

but people don't know which game they are getting till they see reviews from ign or from fellow lg memebers or another source. i know u're getting both. that wallet of yours never runs dry.
I'm not voting yet because I'm not sure if I'll get either but from what I've been hearing Live is the way to go. Not to mention EA has been kicking ass this year while ESPN has been sucking ass.
That isn't just MP's opinion, look at sale charts. Despite ESPN coming out a few weeks early, on PS2 and XBOX combined, Madden is dominating it by I believe nearly 1 million plus. Not to mention ESPN is less than half expensive which didn't pay off much.
ESPN Football is atrocious...ESPN Hockey is a let down... ESPN MLB is a arcadey lagfest.... ESPN NBA last year was an arcadey dunk fest.... EA's Madden2k5 is the best football game ever made....EA Hockey from I've heard is not that great....EA MVP Baseball is very good with the exception of their hitting system (pitching system is great as hanging pitches is YOUR own fault)...EA NBA Live is getting pretty good reviews by gamers and gaming sites
nba live for me. for me they are the lesser of 2 evils cause as bad as ea's servers have proven to be i think sega's for baseball and football the short time i had it were far worse.
I think ESPN 2k5 is awesome. I have played about 10+ games of Madden (I reneted it) and I thought it totally sucked. I used to play Madden all the time (I had like 1997-2003) but once I played ESPN NFL 2k4 I loved it instantly. ESPN MLB....its ok...I think MVP is better. NCAA 2005 sucks worse than Madden 2005. As for the NBA, I guess I really can't comment because I only played like 4 games in 2k4 and the last NBA Live I played was 1995..on a PC.
I don't think many are going to argue that. However, you are definitely in the minority by commenting on how Madden sucks.
Yea, I'm sure I am in the minority....just for whatever reason I think it blows. I thought 2004 was horrible too. It just seems like it is the same damn game every year just with different rosters. I mean...I think they add stuff like "set hot dog prices" and "make your own sign" but other than that its the same game. I dunno I just like ESPN better.
ESPN is the same way...no change with different rosters. The thing people failt to realize are the subtle changes that make it so great, I'm sure ESPN has them too, but for me, I just don't see it. Madden will not be changing their engine anytime soon either. On to Live, I will be getting Live. ESPN looks like the same, sloppy stuff of last year. NBA Live looks like it actually has some flow and pace to it, ESPN has no pace.
