Lehigh v. Stockton Championship Throwdown Thread

So, who's going to win? I wanted to beat @Facialize for once on making these polls.

Lehigh has addressed my only real concern with their team. Having come from the least competitive division in the AHL this season, they had a lot to prove. Well, they threw down with the Beast From The East, the Butchers of the North, and came out on top of the Ice Caps in seven. Not only that, but in Game 7 they shut down St. John's harder than @HipNotiiC x got it the first time he asked a boy out in the school cafeteria.

What is there to say about Stockton? They had trouble with Iowa after Iowa had already sent 1/3 of their roster to Minnesota for the playoffs. @Coach Crass conspired with @MadeOfTwoFaces to distract @Life is sw33t with Rainbow Six: Siege instead of practicing with Charlotte. Crass has addressed his roster weaknesses by bringing down NHL roster players. Lehigh feels they could just step up as a whole and BE the NHL roster.

Unless I can find a way to convince Tris to rule that both teams forfeit four games, there's going to be a winner. That winner? I hate to say it, @Kirito x58, but this is all for you baby:

I think it's fair to say the real Calder Cup championship series just ended last night.

 

It's also fair to say the majority of both these teams belong in the NHL (especially the managment side) but hey it has come down to the best of the best.

Good luck to both teams, I'm gonna go with the Stockton in 6 because I feel Stockton 3rd line has an advantage over LV and if the 4 games of lines 1 and 2 split as they should, it comes down to a 3rd line stealing a game.

 

Your team will go down like the rest, make no mistake it will be a one sided affair and THE VALLEY is swinging the hammer.

 

Substantially better? You went 1-1 against us on the season series with the 1 win being a last second 2-1 victory and the loss a 4-0 ass kicking. Enjoy the curb stomping you're about to receive I know I will.

 

If you're right you'll prove the whole world wrong. Seeing as our series was down to the wire and decided by a few bounces on both sides of the puck that put us in the 7th game together, ultimately coming down to who was more focused for a single game. It will be quite the show to watch your "Substantially better team" sweep Lehigh, and I wait in anticipation of being proved wrong.

Lucky for you big guy you get a chance to show everyone how much better you are than us. Once you win the series you can come back and tell me you're better than me, my record stands at 3-1 with hard fought wins over each line and d pairing we lost the big one but I'm still sleeping just fine.
