Actually, those stats are quite relevant, seeing as I only brought them up to point out how ridiculous crass' post about not respecting us enough to play his "1st" line was and not to take away from the fact we lost gm 7 of the CF.

We played that same line and won earlier in the season, beat sprfs top pair among others. I do believe those are at least two nhl caliber dpairs.

AHL for life is a choice. I play 3 full games of chel a wk and they're all LG. I'm not striving to succeed at the highest level or play in the biggies and be under the delusion I'm "chels finest" , there are countless games more worthy of free time. If I did have a tag like that I might put a little more effort into justifying it than some. I just enjoy showing up and playing organized puck with good dudes who don't think they're superior to anyone else because they can press buttons, all whilst watching my GT turn pretty colors. And rustling nhl elitists jimmies, so AHL 4 lyf3 hummie deal with it

I understand what you are trying to say here, but I don't think you understand what you actually said is not an insult.

To call someone AHL lifers as an insult, I think its safe to assume this would mean they're NHL caliber players who stay in the AHL to look better than they actually are. Taking into consideration you preceed that comment by saying said "AHL lifer" was defeated by players who are known to have a place in a league higher than the AHL, quantifying their talent should in fact be superior to an AHL player, which would mean the subject here our very own "AHL lifers" while potentially in the top 5% for making it to the conference finals could not overcome the next level of competition. Should the insult apply here, they would have actually had to have won the game, proving that they're out of place in a league of semi-profesional players.

The way you're presenting it merely states the players aren't ready to go to the next level, and they are in fact where they should be. Think more thoroughly about your insults and comebacks in the future so you don't contradict yourself in the elite facade you carry around assuming you're better than everyone else.

If you are better than everyone else, does that mean you are playing in a league you should not be playing? If you are in fact better than everyone in the AHL, yet are playing in the AHL, who are you to judge anyone else who chooses to play in the league along side of you?
