I’m throwing my hat in the ring, I’ve never managed before but I’ve been around a while and know all the ins and outs. What I lack in management experience I make up for in locker room presence and pure sense of awesome. Also, I Like Turtles.
@Yolmcory I'm glad to see motivation in regards & persistence involving your management search. My suggestion to you is whenever & wherever you get bid too, I would express interest into the current management there to be involved with day to day operations that they take on. Becoming an Assistant Manager & being around will allow you to experience what it is like being management within the league. I gave you an interview & wanted to see what you would bring to the organization but there were very well qualified candidates out there that have been involved in the day to day operations of management. The NHL / AHL level it is important to have experience as you are going against other experienced individuals. Again my suggestion to ANYONE wanting to become part of management is get involved & be around your current management to learn the basics. Good luck with your search!
Wow, John Sheldon just said you sucked and aren't worth the free contract in the nicest way possible. What a guy
@YoImCory That is not what I was saying at all @Pastahnak. I gave advice on what I think he should do if you haven't been reached back involving management. Getting your foot in the door is critical as there is a lot more to it then you know in regards to the day to day activities. I am sure you will eventually make a good manager of the game but becoming an AGM & asking questions is a good place to start.
