And you know what? You're actually pretty good at it. But there's a problem. You want so badly to see you name figuratively engraved on a non-existent trophy that you're willing to do whatever it takes to get there. So you cheat. You second tag, you convince players of lesser skill to let you or others play on their account so your team gains an advantage. You do silly things like ask your friends and family to create accounts on the site for the sole purpose of voting you into an All-Star Game. You do even crazier things like use VPNs to hide your IP and do this yourself. And everything is great, for a while. You got all the things you ever wanted. All is right in the world. Then one day, amongst the chatter and the rumours you learn you're not the only one to do this. And one by one the dominos fall. And then your number comes up. Now all the things you cheated to get worked so hard for are taken from you. So like the ticking time bomb you were, you explode, trying to take as many down with you as you can. And what the rest of us are left with is a rotting carcass of something that once upon a time was a good idea. And everything that came before today was meaningless and doesn't really count. Then you realize that everything that came before today was always meaningless. And it never counted. And this is a video game. And you wasted everyone's time. And this is why we can't have nice things. TL;DR Fuck yourself. You are stupid.
