Just got back from work. I will be on for about 2 hours before i go eat and take a shower. BTW guys i have no problems posting news and updates. I cant stop playing this game this year.. I'm 14-0 in my franchise and the patriots are 13-1. Raiders almost gave me my first lost the same day Patriots lost. TITANS!!! vs Patriots superbowl hopefully. correct. But if you noticed when setting up defensive audibles sometimes you can assign a DL to drop into zone or cover someone up(depending on team and coverage). sure. Warners getting benched though. Ill put him for put returns  But it'll setup standards so that we dont have new people say "O i didn't know" or crap like that.
HEY! Whatchu tryin' to say about my game Shush? LOL You're probably dead on in your assessment. I did however have one hell of a game vs Vicious696 last night. Check out the Exb. Scoreboard. Down 21-0 and came back to win 35-31. WOOOOOOO!
Nice! Ah just thought I would bring you down with me. Let me pose this question to the group, will Legend be harder on newbies or will it level the playing field a bit?
hey guys, I'm here to say I'll be more than happy to contribute to writing news stories and recaps. I run a 12 man league, here's our league page: http://leagues.espnvideogames.com/t/league.php?l=20554
1. No huddle anytime. 2. Sportsmanship should go without saying. 3. Quarter length 6 minutes. 4. Player control: formation shifts and audibles only. 5. I could go with Legend. Never have, but my other league is RB crazy, so maybe that'll help. 6. Do NOT abuse the QB scramble. I see it almost as a game flaw it's so exploitable. 7. 5 days between games 8. Wait for roster update 9. Yes to the trading deadline. [gump]...and that's all I have to say about that.[/gump]
Excellent question Shush and quite frankly, I'm not sure what the answer is. I think offensively it will be tougher for newbies but defensively it might help. One downside I see to it on defense is that if you're chasing a RB for instance, as soon as you switch to the guy closest to him you're going to slow down as the sliders benefit the CPU controlled players. I've only played one game online in Legend mode and it took some getting used to. It could work though.
Well I played Legend last night, and we did ok I think, kicking is a little harder until i get used to the meter speed. The score was 28-14 so we could score.
I played against the CPU on legend last night and it was a masacre. The only way to stop them was to make sure I didn't select the player closest to the ball. Let's play some exhibition tomorrow (Friday) night. I also need to figure out what's going on with my headset and ESPN games. You free tomorrow night?
I actually like the faster kicking. As for field goals though, I can't make those on All Pro! Maybe it's just me and that I am not up to speed yet but the field goals should be a bit easier to make from inside 40.
Sure Shush. Friday night is good for me. How does 10-10:30 EST sound? I think the computer Legend mode is harder sometimes than vs human opponents simply b/c the computer knows what audible you're calling and could theoretically make adjustments accordingly. Sometimes a human controlled player in taken out of positions that they'd normally be in if the CPU was still controlling them.
I played 4 random guys on legend since the stat reset. All 5 minute quarters Every game was close and both players were under 28 points every time. seems pretty good to me. we could go with 6 minute quarters on legend and not have a problem for the most part. (not much you can do about guys that arent very good giving up big numbers)
Who said I gave up big numbers? My problem right now is turnovers. Once I figure that out you'll have to fight me for the win. I say Legend it is. Played two games last night that were tight.
