the trojans are a bunch of cocky spoiled brats. I still stick to my original statement that they didn't play any good teams.

Actually Wash State isnt any good and they have played nobody to get their record. There are two teams in the Top 25 in the Pac Ten, and 4 in the Big Ten, now lets see which is the better conference.
Also lets look at the last time USC got beat. Cals colors are blue and gold, Michigan- Blue and gold. Cal dominated with a balanced offense, which included a tremendous running back and a good QB, Michigan has a Heisman worthy RB, and a damn good QB, not too mention that they have actually proven themselves against good teams. So dont count out the 'Mazin Blue.

No that is counting them out. Plus Michigan has played extremely well against good in big games, especially Perry, who usually rushes for a ton of yards and TDs. So.........I am gonna be rooting for the Blue.

It's not USC's fault they have a weak schedule. The pac-10 was supposed to have at least 4 good teams; UW, WSU, OSU and USC. Because those teams sucked it up this year, shouldn't count against USC because they are in their conference.

Secondly, USC played their first game on the road at #6 Auburn and shut them out. That is a huge win and could have possibly ruined Auburn's season right then and there. If the BCS is going to take strength of schedule into account, it should also take into account the ranking of team at the start of the game, not the whole year. The ND game is a huge rivalry, so that can't go. The only case you can make for USC having control of a weak schedule is BYU and Hawaii; and remember, they make these schedules years in advance.

I think the Rose Bowl will be a great game because I think both teams are very similar. Perry is a monster, but you can't overlook USC's D (regardless of yesterday?s performance). It could be the best game of all the BCS games. Plus it's nice to see the Rose Bowl with the top teams from both the Big-10 and Pac-10 together again.

    I predict a USC win!!!

OK, first off, your wrong on the schedule thing, they are trying RIGHT NOW, to play Va Tech in their first game. That would mean that they are making their schedule less than a year in advance so........there goes that theory. Well they decided to be in the Pac 10 so they decided to play all the teams in that division. Both the Big XII and the SEC have atleast 4 teams in the Top 25. They are playing in a much harder conference. So you shouldnt discredit their ability to win and thrive in their games, because USC only has one loss to a team not even ranked all year! Granted it was in 3OTs but even still. I think the Rose Bowl and the Sugar Bowl will be about equal. But I see Michigan coming up big in the Rose Bowl as they have in all of their other big games, not by much but it will be enuf. If they can get USC down enuf in the first half, somewhere around 2 TDs, they will be able to hold on and pull out a win.

Perhaps they are doing a bit of late minute scheduling, but it's my understanding that the majority of scheduling does happen very much in advance. Again, concerning the Pac-10, you can't hold it against USC because they play in a conference that is currently weak. USC had 4 top 25 opponents in their schedule at the beginning of the season; so how can that be poor scheduling?

I think you make a very strong argument and a good point. The fact that we can discuss this issue until blue in the face proves that the BCS is flawed. We can all make a point that 4 teams deserve to play in the "National Title Game:" Okla., LSU, USC and Mich. However it's nice to see the top 4 teams in the nation playing each other. And if this were a playoff we would have (1) USC v (4) Michigan and (2) LSU v (3) Oklahoma; the final four, if you will, of college football. Perhaps a foreshadowing of things to come? Let's hope so.

One more point brought up by College Gameday:
    USC - PAC-10 CHAMPS
    LSU - SEC CHAMPS
    Michigan - BIG-10 CHAMPS
    Oklahoma - BIG-12 2nd place

Logically, it doesn't make sense that Oklahoma gets to play for a national championship without being the conference champs. Food for thought. I hope LSU and USC win so they can share the title.
