15th Star!

I have been seeing a few post somewhere else that there's a way to get one more star. I doubt it's true, but I thought I'd see if anyone here had heard anything.

 

Pete has 15 stars, but I doubt we can get it. Post those links and we shall see.

 

are there any further rewards after you max out your player? like if you beat all the tournaments, no losses, etc? any hidden rewards? secrets?

now that i've maxed the player out - is there any incentive for me to continue the career other than to win additional trophies?

 

I'm skeptical that this is true. They make such a big deal all over the game about only having 14 stars that I'd be really surprised if there were 15 available.

 

I agree. After I got my 4th skill, I stopped playing with that character and started a new one.

I think if a 15th star was available, we'd see some people listed on the XBL scoreboards with 15 stars.

 

Unless its something like you have to match what Pete has done in his career, like remain #1 for a rediculous amount of time, or something... I think most people would quit after the 4th skill as that is all the game says you can have.

Who knows... anything is possible, but I think the devs wouldn't do it because of everything else they left out of the game that should be in there. But then again, maybe a dev got bored during the easter egg process. There is nothing about it in the IGN guide they published...

 

There is NO ONE on the scoreboards with 15 stars, and there won't be either....unless action replay gets involved in it which would totally destroy the game [-(

I have Action Replay, it's a wonderful device (I use it to download "names" rosters for NCAA sports games).

Not sure what happened with RTCW, were people cheating or something? I don't see how a save file could be used to cheat online?

 

i know it has saves. that's good for that but u can use action eplay to put it special codes that fuck up the game. like invincibility and shit like that.

 

I doubt that all this is true about the 15th star, but I just thought that I'd mention it. Mostly just to see what you all thought and how you would react. Supposedly getting the star has something to do with winning all the slams wearing the xbox shirt and pants. Again I doubt it's true, I just thought it was interesting.

Also, if there were another star how would most of you use it. I think I'd add another level to my volley to make it five stars.

Although you can download cheats and all for it, its not what I use it for. I use it for roster updates for NCAA games where people go and add all the names to it!

 

I went to cheat code central, there IS a cheat code for a 15th star that the developers put in.

You've got to enter your player name as the following:

JACKBURTONISALIVINOD

That will get you the elusive 15th star.
