A kid a few years ago was the last perfect bracket in the country, when he was interviewed and asked how he chose each team, he said by mascots and team colors

 

So what you are saying is I have a chance.

 

And most people who follow college basketball or do research before making selections end up doing worse than people just randomly picking because if you know what team SHOULD win, then you miss a lot of the upsets.

 

Absolutely. Anybody does, thats why March Madness is great... last year a 16 seed beat a 1 seed for the very first time ever, crazy shit happens

Nobody has ever got a perfect bracket

 

I should have re-worded it. That year his bracket was the last remaining bracket that was still perfect until the Sweet 16 or something like that. You are correct it didn’t finish as a perfect bracket

 

The most correct has been like 39 without one wrong but nobody has gotten it perfect up to top 16 that's actaully insane how u can get that far tho
