I know this sounds strange but my brother and I have been working for a couple weeks to get several American Gladiators events on the new map Foundry in Halo 3. Our ultimate goal is to have full season's of AG with full shows complete with 7 events per show ending of course with the Eliminator Here is a complete list of games that are FULLY functional...please note that rules of games are slightly varied for obvious reasons: - Assault - Atlasphere - Breakthrough and Conquer - Gauntlet - Joust - Powerball - Human Cannonball - The Maze - Pyramid - Swingshot - The Eliminator - Possibly a couple other events like Hit and Run, and a couple new events we've come up with. If anyone is interested, please let me know. We've been testing these out for some time and are having a blast. There is a lot of honor system involved, but most people here are good guys so I don't see a problem. Questions, comments or if you want to try it out, please let us know. We will NOT be putting the maps out to the public until we are completely finished setting everything up.
Have you played grifball?? We need a grifball league to, maybe it could be one of your events, its fun as hell
I haven't played a game yet, but I've read about it. Not sure how to make it an AG event though because of the size of the teams.
true, sorry i just wanna play grifball, lol next time your on you need to invite me and show me these gametypes
Cool man. Did they even have some form of Gladiators in Canada? Ideally on a given night I need as many as 6 players at a time.
Update: Every event has been created and is nearly complete, I will begin next week having people help test out these events and I hope to be able to start a tournament within the next 2-3 weeks. You can check out our progress on my blog at jksays.wordpress.com The rules and format will have it's own page.
I'll send you guys some info in the next few days over Xbox Live. I should have enough to form some sort of tournament which will be awesome. Also, if you know anyone else who might be interested, let me know. Official signups will begin in about a week. I'm looking for contenders AND gladiators (or both).
Anyone at all who has expressed interest in participating in our Halo 3 American Gladiators tournament or just want to help out testing maps, the time has come. If you want to check out the maps and help me make some tweaks, changes, overhauls or anything else to make the games better, now is the time to let me know. Just add my gamertag (JKGuy16) to your friends list and send me a message that you want to help out. Anytime over the next week you see me on Xbox Live (except for Thursday night from 10-11pm Eastern), just send me a message to see if I’m available and i’ll let you check it out. There are some events where I will require as many as 6 people at once, so if you know anyone else who may be interested, get them in too. Also starting on Monday I will have an official signup post to play in the tournament on my blog (http://jksays.wordpress.com) So please hit me up on XBL and lets get our 12 events tested out! I've also added Hit and Run as an event.
Everyone from this forum who has expressed interest has been given a friend request by me. I've completed the basic rules of each event and outlining minor details of how they work. Again, if you want to check them out, you need to hit me up on XBL soon. Thanks to those who have been helping me out, I really appreciate it. I think this will work out quite well with everyone's help.
I've had a few people ask how testing was going...the answer is pretty good. Assault has been our biggest challenge. Everything else is about ready to go. Also, if you are at all interested in this SIGNUPS ARE NOW OPEN! Go to my blog and leave a message letting me know you want to participate in the American Gladiators Halo 3 Tournaments. Leave your gamertag and your best available times to play. The site is http://jksays.wordpress.com As soon as we get an optimal number of players, we can start! Trust me, this has been an absolute blast to play, and those who have helped with testing all seem to agree. Spread the word. JK
Tournament starts in about 5 days. If you want to play there are still some slots remaining. We have enough to play but the more the merrier. If you want to signup click here. You may have to become a member but that only takes a couple seconds. Thanks again to everyone who signed up and/or showed interest.
