Yes, it was only the Kansas City Royals ( :bkc: ), but hey, I had to do it. 21-7! We dominated them lol.

Here is a quote from the ESPN Write-Up:

The Royals are as competitive as a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest. I'd like to see the Angels do that to the Rangers, A's or Yanks.

Hey guys, still, not everyday do you guys kill bad teams.

MP, when was the last time your Braves scored 20+ runs? I don't remember seeing it.

That is true, All MiT, A's still have better pitching but hey, they have had the threesome with Harden last year, had the series in the grasp, and choked to the Red Sox.

Choked two years ago also, when they got beat by the Twins.

So to me, they need to worry about doing good in the playoffs than getting there. And hey, pitching obviously isn't that big of a factor...look where us Angels are now.

I know, I know, you need pitching to win a championship

Well as for the Braves, they are division leaders, and we have a better record than them. Shit Boston ahve an equal record and they are in 2nd place.

But hell, Boston would win a couple other divisions if they weren't in it with the Yankees.

But one thing everybody here has to admit:

The AL West is the toughest division in baseball, and I am glad that my Angels have to compete through it.

When was the last time the Angels were stacked as tightly as the Braves for 13 straight years? We weren't even stacked when we won the World Series, we had just the player in every position, to do just enough to keep us alive, and play defense. This is the first year Angels have ever really been "STACKED".

You are forgetting the Braves are in the NL and with the exception of the few interleague series they dont play AL teams. LOL

Not to mention the 1st half of the season was brutal for the braves losing players left and right to injury. Now that Chipper has gotten his swing back and the Braves pitchers are doing pretty good the Braves are winning.

I'm not sure if you remember this but the Braves were picked by all sorts of baseball experts to finish 3rd or 4th and now they are in 1st and have a NICE lead in the NL East. Where is the angels 7 or 8 game lead? 8)

As I said, everybody has to admit, the AL West is the toughest division in baseball. Look at it, Top 3 teams are within 2 1/2 games of the lead.

Whoopdedoo, the Dodgers were also picked 3rd or 4th by most baseball analysts in their division.

As for injuries, don't even start me. We have been without Troy Glaus for the season more or less due to injuries, we lost Garrett Anderson for nearly half of the season, we lost Rob Quinlan, our backup 3B, we lost Jeff DaVannon for quite a while, Jose Guillen had a strained shoulder for quite some time, Darin Erstad pulled his hamstring badly, and was out for about 2 months, Jarrod Washburn has been out for like a month, and should be coming back start of September. Tim Salmon was out for what, a good month or two.

So if you want to talk about injuries, don't compare to Angels, we had a whole different team for quite a while. It also plagued us last year.

I am not necessarily talking about this year, I am talking about over their 13 straight division wins, they have had quite a lineup more or less every year.

I wouldn't talk buddy, look at your Padres, how many times have they done it this season? None. They struggle to score runs in their own ballpark, the new "spacious" one, so when they start scoring more runs in Petco, then come talk some smack on the Angels. :p

Listen...if you want to talk about bad teams why don't you unload on my beloved Mariners.

Philip raises a good question...just how many times have the Angels scored more than 20 runs? Instead of getting defensive try and answer his question.

Not often, but as I stated, how often do the Padres.

You want me to unload on the Mariners? If it weren't for you guys, we would have a solid 4 man run for the division, but you guys just suck it up. And you guys are losing Brett Boone soon to either socal, Boston, or New York Yanks. So then all you have left after this season now that Edgar is retiring is Ichiro lol.

Well Ichiro will be the only player to have over 200 hits in 4 consecutive seasons...any Angel ever do that. NOPE...Ichiro is the first.
