    Section 1 : Complaints

    1.1 : Player Complaints

A Player is anyone playing in the LGFA.

    1.3 : Owner Complaints

An Owner who has no current management can also have a management complaint filed against him/her. They are responsible to ensure the duties of management are fulfilled until a new manager is hired.

Article VII has every complaint that can be filed against an owner. Reference Article VII for that information.

To file an Owner complaint, please visit the LG Action Center:

    1.4 : Staff Complaints

A Staff is made up of a Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, League Directors, Board of Governors, Player’s Association members, and Committee members.

Staff are also considered players, thus a player complaint can also be filed against a Staff member. Please refer to Article II: Section 1.1 Player Complaints to file a player complaint.

    Section 2 : Filing a Formal Complaint

    2.1: League Complaint System

The Complaint System is linked in your League’s Forum Section under the "News" tab, then then click the Action Center. Then, simply click "complaint" and follow the series of selections to finalize your complaint.

There are four categories that complaints can be filed under :

    - Anything that happens during a game can be filed here.
    - Anything that is listed in Article VII that a Manager or player can not do can be filed here.
    - Anything Player Rights related is filed here.
    - Any staff related issues that should be addressed to the Commissioner himself are filed here.

    2.2 : Evidence

Evidence must come in the form of:

    - Videos
    - Pictures
    - Directions to parts of the LG website where the complaint occurs and we can actively see it live or in the archives (Forums, Chat Box, any of our Systems, Admin Control Panel, etc.)

The evidence needs to be clear, and match the violation you are submitting. It must clearly show a violation to Article VII : The Rule Book.

    2.3 : Submitting False Complaints

Submitting a false complaint means you purposely filed a complaint, and forged or misled the evidence submitted. Please understand that if you submit a false complaint, this will result in a serious punishment handed out from the league.

    Section 3 : Judging a Complaint

    3.1 : Player Complaints

Conduct related offenses (Chat box, Forums, or Website Conduct) fall under the ToS, and are judged by the Site Admin (red names) as well as the League Commissioner.

All League/Game complaints for Players are handled by the Board of Governors (BoG).

They come to a majority vote to either:

    - Suspend the Player (Guilty)

    - Veto the complaint (Not Guilty).

They will come to this determination by analyzing the evidence, and applying it to what the rules state.

    3.2 : Management Complaints

All complaints for Management issues are handled by the Deputy Commissioners. Most of these issues are automatically handled by our systems, but in the instance they are not, they will be voted on by the entire Commissioner’s Staff.

    3.3 : Owner Complaints

All complaints for Owner issues are handled by the Deputy Commissioners. Most of these issues are automatically handled by our systems, but in the instance they are not, they will be voted on by the entire Commissioner’s Staff. They include any aspect of running their team, including their expectations and restrictions. Owners may be penalized for the same thing a Manager gets penalized for if the Owner is also to blame.

    3.4 : Staff Complaints

Staff complaints include anything Staff is doing as a Staff member, and the work that is expected of that position. Any misuse of power or access is included as well. League Staff complaints are handled by the Commissioner of the league.

    Section 4: Appeals

    4.1 : Player Appeals

An appeal is our way to make sure we have a fair and balanced system. Players can file appeals based off of having a decision of a complaint made against them.

You can file an appeal by sending a PM to the Players Association. The appeal MUST include sufficient proof that the violation in question was NOT a violation. Any appeals that do not provide new evidence will not be accepted.

An appeal may be filed, at his/her discretion, by the PA President on behalf of the Player.

When the PA finds sufficient cause to file an appeal on the behalf of a Player, the ruling may be suspended temporarily while the appeal is processed.

A suspended ruling will show up in a player's new feed as "Player Suspended". If an appeal is won, a notification will be sent titled, "Appeal Won". The "Appeal Won" notification will also show up in the player's news feed.

    4.2 : Management Appeals

An appeal is our way to make sure we have a fair and balanced system. Management can file appeals based off of having a decision of a complaint made against their team, whether it is transactions, scheduling, or roster issues.
