Things I learned from this movie. We shouldn't have taken the Injuns land 400 years ago. We attacked Iraq for it's oil. Technology will be the downfall of man. Movie sucked HARD, but looked pretty.

Hi, I didn't really like it, but I just asked this, and I seem to be in the minority on that. I could live with it being predicatble And I understood before going in that it was about enviromentalisim. The first half was not bad. However, the second half degraded into just another war movie. I would like to point out that there is a difference between battle scenes and a war movie. Battle scenes are fun, while war movies are about pain and watching someone you've grown to know die. I also thought the love story felt forced. It has a happy ending, sort of, although that seemed forced to me too.
Highest Grossing film of all time and adding to it's numbers. Not only does he make film company's billions of dollars, he also builds camera's and landcrafts for NASA! jeeebus christ.
Yahoo did a story a few weeks ago saying that if you factor in inflation, this isn't even close to the highest grossing movie ever. If you adjust everything to factor in inflation, it ranks 26th. With the cost of tickets now plus 3-d tickets costing even more money, I'm not too impressed. Avatar was pretty good and I'm gonna let you praise it, BUT GONE WITH THE WIND WAS THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME! EDIT: Forbes did the story and Yahoo just reported on Forbes' story.
I'm more glad that this is higher grossing that titanic. I wish they would do a ticket count instead of a money count. but it's all about the benjamins
Are people seriously just discovering this now. People doing stories on it just now. I knew this years ago. The sound of music was 25 cents to go see and still grossed millions haha
Well it wasn't about who had the more popular movie. It was about people saying Avatar was the . If you add in the inflation factor, this isn't the highest grossing film ever. Inflation is a helluva thaayyyng.
I'd like to see a list of the movies that were the highest net. you would have to think Sound of Music didn't cost a whole lot to make. I believe the highest net film per budget capita was blair witch project wasn't it?. Cost like 60,000 to make and made a ton at the box office.
Thats all I got is TALK! My comp is broke, I don't see the use of paying for internet just to run xbox! Im officially retired.
