well I for one couldn't live to wait for the Next Gen Xbox to get here, but ya gotta do whacha gots to do! you should just get a refurb one from Gamespot or something, they are like $125 now or something like that as far as the tourney goes, I personnally don't have a problem waiting, it's not like there's a big rush to get these done as the LG playoffs are still going on and season 7 looks a ways away anyway
Well I don't wanna shell out another $125 when I already did that 4 months ago, and that XBOX is sitting in my dorm room. This is really the last time I will have a problem with this kind of a situation, as the next time I come home it will be for good.

I would have to upload my account somehow onto someone elses Xbox, and I don't know which credit card was used, so account recover is gonna be a little tricky. If you want to wait til next Tuesday I would be more than happy to play the series then. If not just forward the tourney and give the win to canucks.
well, if u do have someone's Xbox handy you wouldn't exactly need to do the whole account thingy, prettysure you can just be removed from the tourney and then go sign up on your buddies gamertag back in.
That would be my question. What exactly is wrong with your Xbox? When mine went down hill, it was the cd drive. I was able to copy my Live account to a memory card and upload it to my new machine. I assume your Xbox is "flatlined"? As far as waiting until next Tuesday, I will let the remaining participants decide that. So guys that are still alive, what do you say? PM me with your thoughts.
i have a game at 4 pm pst - nosice 440sh - 6 pm pst - vs giotto 6-7 pm pst i can play....... after that, i really dont know if me and wife will wathc movie so i can only play for sure within this time frame.
If you can get to the harddrive, you can copy your account to a memory unit and even play off of that from any Xbox connected to Live. You don't have to copy it to the other Xbox.
1. if Vancouver were to drop from the league MGM would have to either replace him or award the win manually. The problem is can't even get to XBL to drop, so he will have to be booted by MGM. 2. Account recovery is an option, you could always rent an xbox hook it up to live perform the account recovery and play your games. When you have finished simply delete the account info from the hard drive and return the Xbox.
The way it sounded from the below statement, I assumed he had someone else's Xbox that he could use POSSIBLY. He also went on to say that he didn't know which credit card to use. Therefore, what I was saying is since his Xbox boots up but can't run the game, he can transfer his Live account onto a Memory Unit and play on Live THROUGH the account on the MU. There's no need to transfer the Live account onto a different XBox. The Xbox pulls the info from the MU. Thus, avoiding the "Account Recover" process.
you are correct, I misread statement and was under the impression that his box was D.O.A. I appologize for any confusion I may have added to this thread.
Well ...That sounds like your best bet. Upload your account info. from the hard drive of the "sick" Xbox, to a memory unit...Rent or borrow another Xbox and then you should be good to go. Well if there is no deadline and people don't mind waiting just two more days....my plane lands in Seattle at 11:35 am Tuesday the 29th, as long as it isn't delayed like on my departure. I have class from 1:45-3:30pm so anytime after that we can knock out the series if you want to.
