I just have a couple questions about how the CHL is going to work. #1 Wouldn't the CHL teams be direct affiliates to the AHL teams? I understand that is not how it works in real life but to me it would make sense that the AHL has a team directly affiliated with them in the CHL so they can closely monitor their prospects and be sure they get playing time as well as have a direct pool to pull from for ECU's. It seems to me that if players throughout the CHL are able to ECU for anybody that there would be massive conflicts of interest with players knowing other teams systems and how they play as well as multiple teams wanting to ECU the same player on any given night.. #2 If and when will we get a specific outline of how this all works? #3 Since there will be no TC next year (I would assume) How do we get the rights to players? Thank you for you time, Respectfully, Michael S. Moran GM Hershey Bears LGAHL PSN
There will be a TC. Every AHL team has a TC. However each TC player plays on a RA CHL team. So players on the same TC may be opponents in the CHL
Ah gotcha, So will players be randomly assigned again but not only assigned to us but also placed on a CHL team then I would assume?..
To all the people who think the CHL is going to be a wreck, IT WONT, they have had a CHL on the Xbox for many years, and have rules and structure in place. They have it covered.
AHL will have Roster players and TC players....The AHL tc players will be a combination of chl roster players and CHL TC players.
I don't think it is going to be a mess at all for the record. Just trying to figure out how it is all going to work and that is it.
They have had CHL on xbox for years so i am sure the outline is already there, they also had a phl in LG hockey so it is not something new
Well then I guess it will be pretty much the same setup as now with our TC roster the only difference being that most of the TC guys would have a place to play. So when people sign up will they be randomly assigned to both an AHL and CHL affiliate I would assume?
I will be honest I built 85% of my team through the TC rosters this year so it will help a TON knowing that a lot of people will have stats now and we will be able to heavily virtual scout people unlike this season where it was literally hit or miss above and beyond the 100 or so people you know...
IMO, there should be no AHL TC's, everyone who's not selected for NHL/AHL should go to CHL bidding and the rest could be CHL RA's to a TC roster
What if you are a randomly assigned player and don't get drafted, do you end up in the chl or is the bidding normal
